  We loved our stay at the "Stretch by the Sea", the view of Netarts Bay from all three levels was wonderfully sublime. We found the cleanliness and overall amenities to be top notch (with the small exception of the awful can opener in the kitchen). We specifically chose the "Stretch" due to it's close proximity to agate hunting beaches and all in our party came home with some beautiful finds. My personal goal had been to find the Lost boy cave, but alas the tide was not cooperative even at the lowest tide, so I must venture back to continue my search. We had a wonderful dinner at Kendra's Kitchen in Tillamook. In my many visits to the area I had never eaten here as our favorite has always been the Blue Moon cafe but Kendra the owner and cook provided us with a tasty meal and wonderful conversation. We would definitly recommend this property to all, family and friends.

  We had a wonderful time at Stretch by the Sea. Despite all the stairs we had wonderful family times playing games, and watching movies. We appreciated the comfortableness of everything and even tried our hand at clamming and crabbing. Thank you for the crab pot. We really enjoyed the big bunk beds! We would definitely rent this property again.

  I was visiting from Southern California and had a great trip at the cottage. The location is unbeatable. The view form the living room looking right at the Bay was fantastic. You are 2 min walk to Schooners cafe and a 3 min walk to Upstairs Bar and Grill. They had a crab pot in the garage that I used every morning. We had 6 adults and 2 large dogs and had plenty of room. I look to make my trip to the cottage an anual event when visiting my family in Oregon.

  Our family enjoyed our stay at Stretch by the Sea beach house. The home is in a quiet location, yet is only a short walk from Netarts Bay. The home was very clean and well supplied. There were games, good beds, plenty of linens, and a well stocked kitchen. We will definitely consider returning in the future.

  Quite nice house - loved those floors with the thick wooden planks. Well-supplied kitchen, lots of towels and extra blankets, warm and cozy and tight. Nice view of bay from living room and one of the bedrooms. Close to the main restaurant in Netarts and to the dock. The only complaint is that the TV room with the bunkbeds on the bottom floor (you could sleep an entire basketball team in those bunks) needed a good airing out - smelled like a locker room.

  Owner response: I appreciate the comments and the opportunity to address the odor issue. I don't want anyone to think is came from a 'basketball team' or our bunk area. The smell originated when an irresponsible dog owner, who stayed a week in late August, treated our den as a kennel. We had the carpet treated and cleaned after their stay and I asked subsequent guests to report to me regarding the den smell. Responses were "very slight" and "barely detectable" so I thought the problem was solved. But when I arrived at our cottage last week my sensitive nose told me that we needed more work on the issue so we retreated the carpet carefully and shampooed it once again. All was well when we left there today. Our goal is to provide a clean, pleasant home away from home for our guests and ourselves.

  Our stay at "Stretch" exceeded our expectations. The view was beautiful, home wonderfully maintained and stocked with everything a person/family could need for the stay there. Books to games to kitchen utensils and extra nice touches of down comforters made the stay relaxing and great for curling up with a book. We rented a boat for two days for crabbing and caught our fill. Schooner's restaurant a block away had great fish and chips. Lastly, beach combing and watching the surf was the icing on the cake. Would stay again!

  It was very clean and well stocked. Lots of spices, pots and pans, pie dish, spoons/whisks etc. towels, games, books, beach toys, chairs and a fire pit. The house was away from the crowded touristy areas but only 10 minutes away from a Safeway and a 30 second walk from a really good restaurant. We will definitely be coming back!

  Our stay at Stretch Sea in Netarts was wonderful. The cottage was very clean, neat and very comfortable. It was much better equipped than other rentals we have used---kitchen utensils, linens, games, outdoor equipment were all above average. The location was great too, just a few minutes walk to the beach and the boat ramp. If we return to the Oregon coast we will definitely use Stretch Sea again.

  Clean, well stocked and lots of room to spread out! Very kid and dog friendly. Why pay hotel rates to have a small room when you can have a huge house on the bay? Great price! Walking distance to Schooner Restaurant (great food and drinks!) It’s an easy walk to the beach. Great spot for crabbing or fishing so bring your boat or rent one a few blocks away. We plan to come again.

  Was more then we had expected. This was our first time renting a house and we absolutely loved it. We felt like we were at home. Everything was ready for our arrival to come and relax.

  Stretch made for a great vacation getaway with friends! Everything that we needed to cook great meals together was provided. The beach is close by and provides miles of expanse for beach combing or kayaking. The Schooner Restaurant just down the hill, has good food and a fabulous protected deck. We will be back!!!

  Wow---what a lovely home in a great location for a perfect family getaway. We loved the view of the ocean and how the sun just poured in the wall of windows in the living area. The owners have taken great care to make sure guests have a comfortable stay...from toys for children to games for adults and two large living spaces. The kids adored the double bunk beds as well as the short walk to the beach and the local store for ice cream. The kitchen is stocked and organized---everything we needed for a getaway in a "home away from home" destination. Thank you!

  This beautiful house is not on the 'tourist track'! It is, in every respect, a getaway place. Lots of room for being together or being separate, close to the beach, beautiful view, cozy and clean. It was a delight to share this house with friends. Easy to cook in. The fireplace was a plus. I will go back again for a "stretch".

  Great place. Accomodations very comfortable for the 8 of us. Clean, comfortable, with a nice view of the ocean. Netarts is a quiet little place and it was an easy walk to the beach. We will be back.

  We've stayed at this house on multiple occassions and will continue to rent it. The bunk area downstairs is great for kids, while the adults can relax upstairs. It's beautifully decorated yet still comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and its kid friendly. The view is lovely as well.
