Lighthouse Retreat has been a vacation home for family and friends for years and we now want to share it with you. This architecturally significant home was designed by Thatcher & Thompson and was featured in “Better Homes & Gardens” for its passive solar energy system.
It is a 2000 sq ft luxury home with electronically controlled gated driveway, creating a private courtyard/Garden area for outdoor living. Kitchen and all three bathrooms have been recently remodeled using high end luxury finishes and fixtures. It is owned by the original owner.

Spacious living / dining area with large sectional leather sofa and wood burning fireplace. 42” Plasma TV, Cable, DVD, high speed wireless internet. Beautiful glass dining table expands to seat 10 people.
Gourmet kitchen features Viking range, Jenn-Air French door refrigerator, double drawer dishwashers, microwave, electric coffee maker, all other electric appliances including cuisinart.

Why the Owner Chose Santa Cruz
Dick bought in this location in 1977 because he wanted to live near the ocean and this was such a beautiful home. Now, so many years later, our grandchildren love the boardwalk and the beach!!

We are Dick and Gail. We use this home as our family vacation home. Dick lived there in the late 70's. We completely renovated the 3 bathrooms and the kitchen and bar in 2006. We love this home as do our children and grandchildren.

PERFECT! Seven women on their annual weekend away had a wonderful time at the “Lighthouse Executive Retreat”. Just minuets from the beautiful beach and a short drive from “Natural Bridges State Beach “where we witnessed the yearly migration of monarch butterflies.Thank you Jaleen your home is beautiful! And a very special place to spend time at.
