The Oolakano at Rock Bluff Rentals is nestled in the shade of the oaks on 100 acres atop Lookout Mountain in Mentone, Alabama. Only 1 1/4 miles from downtown Mentone, The Oolakano overlooks Rock Lake, a newly constructed fully stocked lake. Rock Bluff Rentals adjoins Lil Mole Run Golf Course. Our cabins are all new constructions and have all the conveniences of home without the stress.
Come relax with us and enjoy the area attractions DeKalb County has to offer. Scenic overlooks allow you to see for miles. Local antique shops and restaurants are nearby. My husband and I spent Valentine's weekend at Rock Bluff Inc in their Gone Fishin' cabin. It was great. All the comforts of home but without all the distractions. Thanks Paul & Ginny. We will be backRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

cabin was clean..very quite.. only complaint would be the grass around our cabin needed cut and weedeated..will consider next trip..Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We built Oolakano, the first of our units at Rock Bluff Rentals, in 2005.
We live in gorgeous Mentone, Alabama and own 100 acres atop Lookout Mountain. This property is so beautiful with its huge trees, lake, and natural wildlife , we knew more people would love to come spend a relaxing weekend here. Mentone is a quaint little town with unique rustic atmosphere, antique shops, fine dining, breathtaking bluff views, and natural beauty. We hope everyone can come enjoy this area of Northeast Alabama as we do.
