We are on the protected Santa Rosa Sound. Plenty of fishing/swimming/dolphins/boating. Read below for the advantages of a Sound-side vacation!
Beautiful pool, landscaping, lots to do at home and in area. This gorgeous home on the Santa Rosa Sound boasts amazing views from numerous porches, balconies, bedrooms, and living area. Watch blue herons trek across the beach looking for dinner, pelicans diving for fish, and the occasional dolphins that frolic in the calm waters. You can enjoy this poolside next to the infinity-edge pool or relax in the spa under the night sky after a day at the beach. Large, comfortable hammocks also await by the pool for further relaxation. Lush tropical landscaping abounds on the property to make you feel like you're truly in an oasis!
Inside is a beautiful layout which has been designed for your comfort (3,300 square feet inside and 1000 square feet includes all balconies). Most bedrooms have beautiful beachfront views and access to balconies with sitting areas. Four rooms come with flat-screen High Definition TVs with over 100+ channels (3 come with DVD players.) A kids room with two twin over double bunk beds can comfortably sleep six. Large air hockey table on ground floor for more entertainment. The kitchen and dining area has plenty of space to create meals for a family reunion or gathering, or you can grill outdoors. We also have a private white sand beach and dock--bring your wave runners! Or, spend the afternoon kayaking along the Sound - we have provided a tandem kayak along with life vests for your use.
In addition to the pool, spa, and beach on site, we are located only 5 miles from Navarre Beach and 15 miles from the shopping and family attractions of Destin. You can do all of the following nearby: Visit the Butterfly House, take a Dolphin Cruise, see the Gulfarium, shark museum, bike along the National Seashore, picnic, parasail, snorkel, kayak, deep sea fishing, canoe or hike trails along the Black River. See the National Naval Air Museum in Pensacola (it's free). Golf and miniature golf. You also have convenient access locally to a Wal-Mart, Target, grocery stores as well as local restaurants to suit anyone's taste.
This home and the one next to it, which sleeps 16-18, may be available for rental together and are enclosed by a fence for privacy. Both share pool, spa, dock, and beach. To view that home, please see listing number 177462 for more details.

Very comfortable home for a large group. We had 16 people and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the location being away from the commercialized areas, yet close enough to beaches and other attractions. Home owners were very helpful and easy to reach. Would recommend to others.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We rented this house for a week and had a great time. There was ample space for our party of eight people and the amenities were more than adequate. The property managers were outstanding. We only had one small issue with the wi-fi and it was corrected in short order. The beach on the sound was a great place for the kids to hang out when we were not at Navarre. the location was also very convenient for groceries, etc. Can't imagine staying in a hotel after being here.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

This was our first trip to Navarre Beach. We loved the house and all the amenities. It was perfect for our family and friend. There were 14 of us and the house provided plenty of room for all of us. The patio, pool and hot tub were great. The owners and managers were so pleasant to deal with and so very helpful. This place really made our vacation special.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

We had an awesome time! We had 5 adults and 3 kids and had more than enough room. Beautiful house and area! The owners provided awesome customer service. We had to call them and they returned our call promptly and took care of us. The busy road in front of the house is not a factor. The tall fence in front of the house hides you and blocks the traffic noise. Excellent fisjing from the dock. We caught all kids of fish. We saw sting-rays and dolphins daily- really neat! I do recommend this house and we will be going back next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I had the unique fortune to stumble upon these beautiful homes online in our exhaustive search for a weekend wedding venue. We knew we were looking for something to house both families in order to celebrate for multiple days but also had an outside space with some natural beauty for the ceremony. Living outside the state we took a risk booking sight unseen other than online pictures. Turned out to be the best decision by far. The outside space is breathtaking in early October. The beach is private, remote and quiet with small waves and shallow for wading unless you take the kayaks out further. The grounds are well manicured & the magnolias remind you of ancient relics you see in magazines. The pool is large and crystal blue against the ocean. Most of our time was definitely spent outdoors and during the wedding day our guest were amazed. We had families of 6-8 in each house but could have slept far more without problem. Each house is decorated so beautifully we felt like royalty by the end of the week. The kitchens were spacious and our caterer had no problems with space. Tim and Elizabeth were always available by phone and very thoughtful... 3 or 4 days before the ceremony they scheduled the pool guy, pest guy and the landscaping guys all come for some small last minute maintenance. Some unexpected bonuses.. Amazing wildlife from stingrays to dolphins to wild butterflies everywhere... The "bridal" master bedroom in one of the homes all in white made great pictures... The hot tub every night after dinner was awesome ;b The National Seashore nearby for wedding day photo session... A great internet connection to take our gradschool midterm 2 days before the wedding, and of course... A great donut shop nearby! We couldn't have been more blessed and our families are already looking forward to renting again for future vacations together.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time and the house was beautiful! The weather wasn't the best so the adults did not use the pool due to it being cold. The kids on the other hand will swim in just about anything. The adults were disappointed because the jets on the hot tub did not work. Since we couldn't use the pool, due to the pool not being heated we had planned to spend a lot of time in the hot tub. Without the jets working we didn't really use it. Other than that we loved it and would go back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: It is regrettable that the weather was cooler than anticipated and that the hot tub blowers malfunctioned (despite being less than a year old.) Although the jets and heater remained functional the blowers that create the therapeutic bubbles for the spa effect is what went out. Unfortunately, both the weather and the blowers were something outside the homeowner's control. As with any guests, we worked diligently to rectify the problem. The hot tub blowers were replaced, but the delivery from the manufacturer and installation was too late to allow these guests to enjoy the spa. It should also be noted that there are two master bedrooms, each with their own private jetted tubs.

Thank you for allowing us to use this house last month for our daughter's wedding. She was married in front of the infinity pool facing the bay. Her aisle was the sidewalk between the 2 houses. A DJ set his equipment up on the 2nd floor back porch--with plenty of room to spare. We used the pool chairs for some of the guest to sit in/ others stood with their own cameras. During the ceremony the noice level from passing cars on the main highway was ok--the video picked up some noise but it did not drown out the service. A local photographer made some wonderful, colorful pictures beside the pool, pier and beach. We had the reception in the kitchen/living room area. The glass table looked beautiful with the food on it. We set up the cakes in the foyer. The house was large enough for all our guest to eat in comfort The DJ was also able to set his equipment on the living room/bar. The photo's made inside the house turned out very good. I do wish that we had thought to turn off some of the lights and use the "mood lighting" in some of the pictures. My daughter was very happy with her wedding. Thanks again for allowing us to use your house. Mother of the BrideRecommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
