BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This is a great home for a getaway for family or friends! The home is on a wooded hillside location. From the deck, there are great views out over the lake and Discovery Ski area is within sight as well. A walking or cross country ski trail is accessible right from the yard and you can go for miles!
BEDROOMS AND BATHS: There are a total of three bedrooms in the home, plus a loft with extra sleeping space. The loft area is up over the living room and has a pullout sofa bed. This is where you will find the only television with VCR and DVD for the home and library reading area with supply of books. On the main floor are two bedrooms with queen size beds. There is one full bath with tub and shower on this level. Finally, on the lower level of the home you will find the third bedroom, also with queen size bed. The lower level family room has another pullout sofa for larger groups. There is one more full bathroom on the lower level of the home.
KITCHEN: The complete kitchen has an electric range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and grinder - all the necessities! There is plenty of cookware, serving ware and even a spice cabinet. All you need to bring are your groceries.
DINING AREA: The dining table will seat eight comfortably, and ten if you really want to get cozy. There is additional seating with three barstools at the kitchen counter, plus outdoor seating on the deck.
LIVING ROOM: The living room has cushy leather sofas situated around the grand river rock fireplace. It also has a stereo with a CD player. There is additional gathering space up in the loft for those that want to watch a video (no satellite or cable service at this home). Also, the lower level of the home has a partially furnished game room with a ping pong table and professional grade foosball table. There is also a table for playing games or working on puzzles, etc.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES: There is a gas grill and outdoor seating on the deck. There is a fire pit in the yard. A short drive from the home takes you to the public access on the lakefront.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY: From this convenient location you can go hiking, boating and fishing on the lake or nearby rivers, horseback riding, white-water rafting and mountain biking. It is a short drive to the historic town of Philipsburg, where you can see the old historic district, find great restaurants and shopping. For winter guests, skiing is minutes away at Discovery Ski Area (no lines, affordable tickets, and incredible vistas!), or explore some of the great snowmobile or cross country ski trails. There's so much to do.
DISTANCE TO NEAREST AIRPORT: The airport in Butte is 45 minutes away. Missoula is an hour and a half and Bozeman is two hours drive from the home.

Beautiful views of Georgetown Lake. Comfortable, large living areas to gather and talk. Played ping pong and foos ball in the evenings...fished and visited Philipsburg (great sapphire mine) and Butte during the days. Saw a Mama Moose and Big Baby Moose running down from the mountain...they hung out around the lodge for about 15-20 minutes. My son is a photographer and got some awesome pictures! The only thing I wished for were bigger beds (They were Queen size and my husband is a big guy!) and more toilet paper (just buy some in Anaconda when you get groceries). BUT I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a fun family get away.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had a great stay at your cabin, thank-you for the relaxing vacation that we all shared, and the beautiful sunsets off the deck!! We all enjoyed the stay and it was the perfect place for us all to meet each other, we came from Michigan, Minnesota, and California. Hope to do it again!!!!!! Went to the 4th of July parade, which we walked to, and visited with our cousins who were just down the road. Saw wildlife, even saw a moose on a road nearby, and some deer and heard the coyotes. Also got to watch fireworks from the deck. Thank-you!!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a great vacation at the cabin. We had 2 families with grown kids. It was accommodating for us all. It was so much fun to all hang out and spend time Together. We all enjoyed the nice big deck with enough chairs for everyone to sit and enjoy the view and also watch the beautiful sunsets at night. Everyone had a great time playing the phooseball and Ping Pong games, and the nice long table upstairs was great for playing cards and board games at. The bed rooms had comfortable beds and nice big closets. The washer and Dryer were handy. It is a great place to go with your extended family. Mountain Home staff was very helpful if we had any questions. We hope to get back there again sometime.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
