Great Sunset and Ocean Views
- Minimum stay:N/A

Enjoy beautiful sunsets and ocean views while sitting on the lanai!
Also, the view of world famous Diamond Head is inspiring! Watch the fireworks every Friday night from the lanai of this beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with full kitchen. The location is 'the best of both worlds', conveniently located 1 mile behind Waikiki. Far enough away to be out of the crowds and and when you want to, close enough to be part of the crowds and all the activities Waikiki has to offer.
The unit is located right in front of the Ala Wai Golf Course. Watch golf from the lanai or walk over and play golf. You can walk to some of the island's favorite spots, Leonard's Bakery, Sam Choy's and more! Just opened recently a brand new Safeway store.

We enjoyed the condominium and it worked well for our family with 2 teenagers. Convenient location for driving, using transit or walking to Waikiki. All the amenities are close by including the Safeway store which is handy for getting groceries. All the information is accurate and describes the condominium well. The only drawback is that the parking stall is a little small for a full sized vehicle.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and we found that the condo was in the best location! It was just a couple of blocks from Waikiki and easy driving distance to Pearl Harbor, North Shore, etc. And just as everybody says, the view is really great! I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family and hope to be back soon too!Owner response: Thank you for that wonderful review. We have been going to Side Street Inn for many years! Our first visit years ago was to the Hopaka Street location. Pretty excited that the 2nd location it is 5 minutes from our condo!!

I promised that I was going to write a review about our fabulous stay at this condo. From the lanai (which is one of the best features of this condo), you get to look across the the Ala Wai Golf Course, past the Ala Wai Canal and see the rows and rows of Waikiki buildings. From 23 floors up, it's a spectacular view whether in the morning or evening. There is the 5 minute drive to the zoo parking lot or free parking at Kapiolani park if you want to go to the beach at Waikiki or walk around a bit, but at the end of the day, you get to return to the condo far enough removed from all that craziness. We love to visit Oahu, and to stay just off of Kapahulu Street, where Rainbows, Zippys, Ono's, Leonards are a short 5-10 minute walk away is just plain awesome. Safeway is also within walking distance, but if you want more local variety, walk the extra 5 minutes and go to Foodland. It is a 5 minute walk to one of our favorite restaurant, Side Street Inn. We were visiting for my grandbaby's baptism. The place was perfect - my husband and I were traveling with my sister-in-law and my son. Most of the other occupants are residents, so the place is really quiet. Location is a great when driving around as you will have an easy escape traveling either East or West. And on the return, the condo is the only tall high-rise around, so it's easy to find your way back home. It is nice to drive down Kalakaua. We will come and stay here again. I would recommend this to any family who wants to stay away from Kalakaua.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

This being our first Hawaiian vacation, we really didn't know what to expect when booking a property through VRBO. This property was everything and more for us, surpassing all our expectations. The views from the lanai are amazing. Each morning we sat eating breakfast, watching the golfers below - in the evening, the skyline of Waikiki lit up the sky. Also a great front row seat for the Friday night fireworks. The condo for us was a home away from home. Very comfortable, with decor that emphasized the Hawaiian feel. Loved the private pool and sauna area as well - this is such a bonus - and it's very well maintained. We found everything so convenient. Safeway being just blocks away, with very reasonably priced restaurants nearby as well - our favorite being Good to Grill. The Honolulu Zoo, the Aquarium, and Waikiki are all within walking distance. It was indeed an absolute pleasure to work with the owner - quick and clear responses to any of our inquiries. We look forward to returning to this property in the future, and would recommend it to any of our friends.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. It really was our pleasure having you as our guest!!

We would certainly recommend these accommodations to others. Location was great for us and what we wanted to do. Very Clean, view was as listed. We heard about Leonards Bakery from a Tour Guide and it was very close to us, too bad we didn't learn about it until our last evening but it is an experience.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We loved the view from your condo. We expected the bedrooms and bathrooms to be a little larger than they were shown. It was a very good location to get around after we figured where we were going. We did get lost the first couple of days because we found the maps not to have areas marked on them! One suggestion we have is to let the renters know that there are no paper supplies and they will need to buy them. We really liked the restaurant, 'Good to Grill', which was just around the corner from the condo in the Safeway shopping center. We went there 3 times while we were visiting!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing.

Great condo. Loved the location, free parking, access to the freeway and view. The condo was very clean and nicely furnished. We loved the lanai for meals. It was our favorite "room" in the condo. It is near/far enough from busy Waikiki. We would stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

From 23 floors up, it's a spectacular view whether in the morning or evening. For me, that's as close to Waikiki as I would want to stay. Sure there is the 5 minute drive to the zoo parking lot or free parking at Kapiolani park if you want to go to the beach at Waikiki or walk around a bit, but at the end of the day, you get to return to the condo far enough removed from all that craziness. Safeway is also within walking distance, but if you want more local variety, walk the extra 5 minutes and go to Foodland. And Gina's Korean BBQ is in that same strip. Traveling with spouse and two teenagers, the place was perfect. Most of the other occupants are residents, so the place is really quiet. If you're a dog lover, you will appreciate this condo, as many of these residents have small dogs that they are always taking out for their walks. We used the pool almost every day. It's small compared to the Waikiki hotels, but it's definitely a better way of relaxing at the end of the day. Location is a big plus when driving around too, as you will have an easy escape traveling either East or West. And on the return, the condo is the only tall high-rise around, so it's easy to find your way back home. It is nice to drive down Kalakaua at least once for the experience, but "mo betta" to never have to do it again on the same trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
