You'll find paradise in Waikoloa! Stay in this luxurious, private, end unit, two bedroom, two bath condominium on the second floor with extended bedroom floor plan, overlooking the pool with views out to the ocean. Right next door to the world-famous Hilton Waikoloa Hotel and TWO championship golf courses, this master planned luxury resort is one of the premier destination developments in the world.
This fabulous, non smoking condo has been gutted and completely remodeled as of January 2008. It now has 2 bedroom suites, the second of which can be set up as king or 2 twin (requested at time of booking) and has a television and fan. The oversize master bedroom has new furniture with a king size bed and flat screen TV. The master bathroom is completed in travertine, limestone and marble and has a chromotherapy whirlpool tub with traditional and air jets. (This is one of a kind in the resort.) The glass shower has been expanded and contains both standard and rain shower heads. The vanity has 2 sinks. A coffered ceiling and fan has been added. The second bath is completed in travertine with unique accent tiles and has a glass vessel sink mounted on a black granite slab and etched glass shower doors. The kitchen has been finished in walnut with granite slab counter tops, a tumbled travertine mosaic backsplash and travertine flooring. All appliances are high end (Wolf, Dacor, Fisher/Paykel, Sub Zero, Kitchenaid) and include a warming drawer. This is a gourmet kitchen equipped with many extra cooking gadgets. The condo has a full house water filtration system that removes all chlorine and many other particles. Additionally there is a reverse osmosis purified drinking water system in the kitchen.
This is one of the few condos that has a full size Whirlpool washer and dryer. There are several ceiling fans and air conditioning ducts have been added to both bathrooms thus keeping the entire condo well cooled. Wrap around lanais, accessible from the living room and master bedroom, are spacious and furnished for comfortable outdoor living with a dining table and chairs, luxury lounge chairs and an easy chair and footstool where you can gaze out to sea and watch activity on the bay and whales in season. The living room has surround sound TV with DVD and TiVo. WiFi high speed internet & free long distance phone within the US. The master bedroom has VCR, DVD and a small CD player bedside. The unit is stocked with music and movies. This condo is well back from the street and therefore has little traffic sound. Additionally, it is well protected from the strong trade winds and usually hosts a gentle breeze. Rentals are for a maximum of four people and include all linens. Rentals include mid stay cleaning and linen change.
The unit offers views of the ocean looking out to the west and sun set vistas that are just spectacular. You'll have the best of both worlds... enjoy your private condo as home, and also enjoy the surrounding hotels, spas, golf courses, restaurants and beaches...all within a 5 minute walking distance! Our guests enjoy use of the Marriott's Anaeho’malu Bay ("A" Bay) beach and amenities such as the Ocean Sports Activities Center and lounge chairs. You don't want to miss the intoxicatingly beautiful Hilton Waikoloa! Stroll the grounds, eat lunch at the Lagoon Grill, overlooking the dolphins, ride the monorail and view museum quality art from Polynesia and the orient. Then, take a boat ride back to the lobby, shops or five world class restaurants.
The Vista Waikoloa swimming pool is large enough to appeal to the fitness lap swimmer and it is heated (unique in the resort area). There are also two whirlpools, changing rooms, and plenty of privacy for relaxing and getting a golden tan. There is a reserved parking space for your rental car and a security gate on the property. Upon arrival to this condominium, you are sure to find all of the amenities of luxury resort living including a concierge, fitness room, and business center.
The resort is nestled around the beautiful crescent-shaped white sand beach of Anaeho'omalu Bay. Many water-sports are available from this magnificent beach. The tranquil, warm water offers windsurfing, swimming, sailing, snorkeling, glass-bottom boat, dive trips, etc. The King's and new Queen’s Shops, within walking distance, offer world-class dining and shopping. As of July 2008 a full-scale gourmet grocery store will be open at the Queen’s Shops. Swim with dolphins, whale watch (December to April), play golf, go to a traditional luau, all within a few steps of your front door. Enjoy golf at the Beach Course- only 50 yards away from your condo (designed by Trent Jones, Jr.) and at the Kings Course (designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish). Don't forget to pamper yourself and visit one of the resort spas. You can even get a treatment Oceanside under a cabana... Or relax in your private retreat and do nothing at all.

Just returned from our visit. We have stayed in several units at Vista over the years and this is by far the nicest. Bathrooms and Kitchen were superb! Entertainment system was a bonus. The indoor and outdoor furniture were very comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a great value at Vista!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

We absolutely loved this condo. We have stayed in the Waikoloa area on several occasions and this condo exceeded all our expectations. It is "better than advertised" and a great value for the accomodations and location. We will be back.

This condo was a wonderful home base for our BIg Island vacation. It is graciously appointed with art, high end applicances and entertainment systems, and very comfortable stylish furniture. It is quiet, spacious, and a wonderfully relaxing space. The partial ocean view with colorful sunsets was very nice from the lanai. The owners and the on-site manager were very helpful. The location was ideal, close to restuarants, shopping, several golf courses, and even the pick-up point for the Mauna Kea Summit tour, which I highly recommend. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice, as were the fitness and business centers. This condo was conveniently close to all of them, yet still very quite. We will definitely stay here again!
