You're ensured a memorable vacation in our beautiful home. It offers a secluded wooded setting with spectacular views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands.
The house has large windows that bring the outside in, two lakeside decks offer spectacular sunsets, a wide covered porch (perfect for being outside if there's a rainy day), and all the comforts you need to have fun, relax, and be with family or friends. Our kitchen is fully appointed, and is open to the dining room and living room. The bedrooms are private and comfortable.
Built 15 years ago, the house is attractive, clean, cozy, romantic, well-furnished, spacious, and peaceful. A perfect getaway...you won't want to leave.

What a wonderful time of year to visit. We had a great time hanging out with others on the island -- enjoying the last art fair of the season. Your place is beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing here. We especially enjoyed the great view of the lake. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us.

We had an awesome time and appreciated everything about the house from the architecture which allowed stars to be seen at night to the hammock, gas grill, video/audio collection, the lake, and the best sectional couch any of us have seen. Thank you for the gift bag which became our entire snack bag on the boat. How nice and amazingly perfect. We all played hard, ate well, slept soundly, and returned to our daily grind relaxed and thankful for everything. Thank you for sharing your home. We sincerely hope to visit again.

Thank you, your place is perfect for everything. We have rented a place on the island for the last seven years, and your house is by far the best. Your attention to detail, from soaps to propane, made our vacation very relaxing. A perfect house and a perfect setting.

We stayed at this home during the week of July 4. Idyllic doesn't even begin to describe this property. The house is situated on 10 very private wooded acres loaded with wildflowers and wild raspberries,is meticulously well cared for, and there are two decks and a large porch so everyone can spread out and pursue their own interests. We took our kayaks down the stairs to the lake and spent our days exploring the shore, reading on the "sunset bench," and swimming (yes, it was warm enough!). At day's end we enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch while admiring the sunset and congratulating ourselves on our great vacation find. We hardly left except for some trips to LaPointe for necessities. We highly recommend this island home to anyone who wants an absolutely relaxing yet stimulating vacation. We hated to leave! Our thanks to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us.
