Nani Kai is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2,000 square foot oceanfront town home located in Poipu, Kauai, on the sunny side of the Garden Isle. The floor plan is designed to take advantage of amazing 180 degree ocean views from each of the two Main Bedrooms as well as from the Great Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Lanai and Lawn.
This spectacular home has marble floors, granite countertops, lavish but comfortable furnishings, along with a flat screen TV with digital cable with DVR. High-speed wireless Internet access is instantly accessible by guests.
The two ocean view bedroom suites (1 with King, 1 with Queen) each have private baths. In addition a full bath/powder room with shower serves the balance of the space.
To provide further enjoyment of our guests, a large ocean view Spa is located on Deck off of Master Suite. At Nani Kai you will also find a Weber gas grill, and a fully equipped Kitchen so guests can prepare gourmet meals to enjoy from the ocean view Dining Room, or from the Lanai. The home also includes beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas provided for guest use
While enjoying this tropical paradise you can watch the sea turtles and whales immediately in front of Nani Kai, a location that is a known gathering spot for Kauai’s famous Sea Turtles. The strategic location of the property is in close proximity to so many appealing attractions; short walks to famous sandy beaches and to great snorkeling spots. Kiahuna Beach is a short 5-min walk and Baby Beach is a 10-min walk. The beautiful new Kukui’ula Village with world class restaurants and shopping is only a 5-min walk away. Also walk to Keokees, Roy’s, and Plantation Gardens for some of the best dining on the Island

Amazing location and 5 star views! Great lawn, the best hot tub I’ve ever been in (both quality and location of it!). Very relaxing surroundings and close to everything. You can walk to beaches easily and shops. Don’t worry that you’re not on a beach (its oceanfront, not beachfront) it doesn’t matter at all since it’s so close by. Very very well stocked with kitchen equipment. We prepared dinners everyday and had no problem cooking gourmet meals and serving our guests when we had them over for dinner. Downsides: House needs to be remodelled soon. It is getting a little wear and tear. It is very nice and fancy but small things need done up (eg – upstairs balcony looks like it is going to collapse, woodwork rotting, sliding door jams easily and hard to open/close). The biggest thing of all – it needs air conditioning! I am not even an air conditioning person (I prefer it off or low) but even with all fans on, windows open with breeze (Kauai gets a huge breeze too) it is still too hot in there! Sleeping was uncomfortable. We were there in June/July. Some reports say it doesn’t need air con…but it really does! The house is connected to another house beside it (like a townhouse sort of) and you have a shared lawn with only a small bit of trees separating some of it from your neighbour. If another person is next door, then you will see them when you’re sitting in the lawn generally. The hot tub is private though. They will tend to respect your half of the lawn though. Also, the road in front is slightly busy with surfers, walkers and people trying to spot turtles so really, you constantly have some people in front of the house doing this. Overall, I totally recommend the house and would stay there again if it had air conditioning. The views and hot tub alone make up for the small inconveniences. It was very nice inside and a perfect location for our honeymoon.

My wife and I along with two close friends spent a week at this wonderful home. The most impressive facet of our trip was the immediate feeling of comfort along with our ability to maintain privacy whenever we wanted. Evenings were spectacular on the patio and given the proximity to the beach, we were able to enjoy the coastline at any time of day. The layout of the unit maximized ocean views while providing ample places to lunge and rest. The nearby restaurants were great and our favorite place was Casablanca. I would recommend this wonderful home for anyone who is looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. You will not be disappointed!

Luxury living on the ocean. The hot tub is an added and welcome bonus. Kitchen is extremely spacious and well-appointed. Easy to get to great beaches and all of the island's southern coast. Ideal for sharing with another couple, or with adult children. Plenty of space for togetherness and privacy.

The location of this property couldn't have been better - it was right on the water and only minutes away from a great shore dive spot, and a popular snorkeling beach. There were four of us at the property and we all had ample privacy, and comfortable rooms. The best part of the house was the outdoor patio for dinner and drinks while the set set over the horizon. I would recommend Nani Kai to anyone looking for a condo in Kauai and some privacy from the larger resorts. Additionally, we travelled all over the island, and Poipu was by far the best place to set up camp. I would rent this property again, hands down.

We enjoyed out stay in your home so much we tried to rent again for next year, but it was already taken. We found your home well represented on your websites. It was everything you could ask for and then some. The guide books available were an outstanding touch. The home was clean and the owners and management team were very accommodating and friendly. I would very much recommend renting this property. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. Hope we can rent it again in the very near future.
