BEAVER CREEK LODGE
Brief Description: This spacious four bedroom home enjoys a private location up Beaver Creek Canyon in beautiful Big Sky. Guests will enjoy fantastic mountain views, lots of peace and quiet, and easy access to hiking from this home.
It is merely a ten minute drive to Big Sky Resort and a few minutes farther to adjoin Moonlight Basin. Yellowstone Park is under an hour away. An extra bonus is the outdoor hot tub, perfect for an evening of star gazing.
Bedrooms and baths: The main home has three bedrooms, with a fourth bedroom in the bonus room apartment over the adjoining garage, and three and a half bathrooms. There are two additional pullout sofas in the home for more flexible sleeping arrangements.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, luxury linens - of course, and an attached private bath with deep, jetted tub and separate shower. The two other bedrooms, up on the second level, each have a queen bed and share a full bath out in the hall.
There is a loft over the living room on this level that is set up with a queen size pull out sofa. The fourth bedroom in the home is actually an attached apartment over the garage. There is a double size Murphy bed as well as a pullout sofa in the apartment. The main home sleeps up to eight guests and the apartment will accommodate up to four more guests.
Kitchen: This fully equipped kitchen has high quality appliances and amenities. It has absolutely everything you will need for any meal you have planned. There is a nice selection of cookware, serving ware and a good spice cabinet as well. Out on the deck you will find a gas barbecue grill and seating for those outdoor meals.
Dining area: The dining area adjoins the kitchen, with a table that will seat ten comfortably, and extra barstools along the kitchen island for overflow guests.
Living room: This is a true great room off the kitchen area with huge windows for amazing views of the forested hillsides. Enjoy the great views and visiting wildlife from the living room and from the wrap around deck outside.
There is also a loft area up over the great room which is a great place to sneak away for a little nap or private reading time. The sofa up in the loft area is a pullout bed for groups that need a bit more space.
Services available: The rental rate includes a weekly cleaning. Additional housekeeping, as well as catering services, can be arranged with a bit of prior notice.
Activities nearby: Besides phenomenal Big Sky and Moonlight Basin skiing, there are also great Nordic trails for the cross country skiers in your group at nearby Lone Mountain Ranch.
Head down to Yellowstone in either summer or winter to see the most beautiful country in the world, wildlife, natural thermal features, and endless hiking and fishing opportunities. Big Sky area has plenty of its own hiking and mountain biking trails, and fishermen will enjoy nearby access to the Gallatin River as well as the solitude of fishing in Yellowstone Park.
Add to the list, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, golf, shopping and the great towns of Big Sky and Bozeman for dining, shopping, music and more. There's so much to do!
Closest town and airport: It's about a five minute drive to Big Sky's Meadow Village, and 45 minutes or so to Bozeman, or Belgrade, or West Yellowstone. Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport is the closest commercial airport, about one hour away from the home.
Other details: There is a telephone at the home for guests to use for local calls. No smoking is allowed in the home. No pets are allowed on the property or in the home without prior written approval.
The home has a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a garage with room for at least one guest vehicle. It is very rare for a Montana home to be built with air conditioning; this home does not have AC. This home has a fully equipped kitchen, and includes good quality kitchen, bath and bed linens, and staples like paper goods, laundry, dish and hand soaps.

"Perfect- Everything! For family, location and setting! Loved it!!" Beaver Creek Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way! The drive up to it and then seeing "our house" was so exciting ! Then walking in and seeing how amazing the house was , was even better! Our oldest daughter is married with twin girls so the apt worked out perfect for them. The best thing was sitting out on that deck and hearing the roaring creek and seeing the sunset and the stars and the sun rising in the morning with my cup of coffee!! Wonderful!! Everything was clean and well supplied. We had a truly great experience with Mountain Home and Beaver Creek Lodge. Susie was so helpful with the pack n plays and getting us in when the airline lost my suitcase with all of my info in it.! Thanks to all for making our Montana vacation a life highlight!!

"Montana trip" When we drove into Big Sky, we didn't know what to expect. As we followed the directions to the house, we began realizing exactly what we were getting. The view of the house from the road said it all. The house was amazing. The view was stunning and the lot was beautiful. We sat on the deck every night and just relished the peacefulness of Montana. My children loved walking down to the creek. I would stay there again and again.

"Family Vacation" We were very impressed with everything the home had to offer. Wish we had a little more knowledge of what was furnished at the house (condiments, paper products, etc.) One thing we could have used was some more pillow cases. The home was very cozy and had everything we needed. Would rent this again as this was centrally located to

"Great experience!!! Highly recommend!!!" When I first saw the pictures of the house on line, I thought it was nice. When we drove up to the house and walked it the door it was so much better than expected. It was much bigger than in the pictures, so much more spacious. The pictures do not do this house justice. The windows all around the house give you a great view of the beautiful scenery. Almost every morning I was able to see deer right out front of the kitchen window. We drove through the little community of houses there and we able to spot a female moose and its baby. The creek at the bottom of the house is a nice touch as you can hear it from the balcony. I just wish we could have found the beaver that built that dam right by the bridge. One neighbor did mention that they spotted a grizzly the night before, but unfortunately we were never able to see it. From a safe distance of course. The only thing I would ask for was less rain in august, but that can't be controlled. It was a little distance from Yellowstone, but at least there was no traffic to contend with so that was fine. The two 5 year old children that were with us loved the house. They were so excited to be in a house that big. The beds in the 3 bedrooms were extremly comfortable. The apartment beds, not so much. The house and surroundings were more that we expected. I would stay here again and highly recommend

"Big House in Big Sky, MT" The house was very comfortable. It featured open living space with an open kitchen so it's great for a large group, which we were. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of chairs, a nice large dining table. The deck was nice and the jacuzzi was a plus. The only negatives we found were just due to the rain the hill to reach the house was quite slippery for our tires (Honda Pilot SUV), and we had some trouble w/the Fireplace blowing too much smoke indoors as well as not being able to use the stereo. Overall it was a great house to spend our week in Big Sky in.
