NHRA Gator Nationals(Gainesville), Olustee Battle Reenactment(Feb.).Only 12 miles from Lake City, a city that has all your needs, shopping mall,many resturants,movie theater,bowling lanes and flea market every weekend.The small communities in the area have many festivals in the winter and spring time.Also, the Spirit of the Suwannee has many concerts and enertaining activities all year round and is only 25 miles from the cottages. Very Close to Entertainment and Fresh Made Pizza.

What a little gem! Exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated cottage with all the amenities of home! Grounds were very well maintained in a very peaceful setting! Colleen, caretaker, was extremely hospitable and took care of our every need, including great recommendations on things to do in the area! If you want the feel of camping, without the hassle of setting up your own camp, with all the amenities of a well decorated, clean, and fully equipped home, this is the place! Very affordable, especially for all you get! My wife, our 2 daughters (9 & 10), and I had a great time and look forward to returning very soon!Recommended for: Families with young children.

Loved it! Super clean and hospitable. You will feel like you live in the area in 1 day. Eating at all the local places, Coleen was fantastic...she was like having a tour guide. Quite and comfortable. Looks just like the pictures. We felt like we were at home. One of our favorite relaxing time. We stayed 4 nights, added an extra night, cabin 6, never heard a car. Bed is firm and we love that. AC worked great in august. Don't stay at a hotel, you will love this more. Very relaxing after long days on the rivers. Bring your own food and save $$ cooking at you place, loved the Garthering, Soldiers for lunch and am coffee. We got Wi-fi on our front porch from The Keg, the bar/restaurant right by, excellent wings. Not any noise don't worry. Everywhere we went, Scaffs grocery store, everywhere people where so friendly, tell them Coleen sent you and they are you best friend. Make sure you go to Bob's Place...Colleen will tell you all about it, a locally owned homestead, with zip line, rope swing, water slides, the kids will love it, but it is not advertised so you have to get directions from a local...Colleen again. Enjoy!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
