Looking for a private, relaxing place to stay, away from the hubbub of major resorts and big city congestion ?? Our cozy condo located in Santiago, Manzanillo, Colima, is the place for you. It is safe, quiet and secure. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths ( comfortably sleeping 4 adults), and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as all the linens, TV, DVD, Microwave, and other amenities needed to make it feel like home.
Step out our front door and you are 30 yards from one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Manzanillo, Olas Altas, on the Bay of Santiago. This three mile long beach is good for walks, jogging, swimming or playing in the surf. At one end is a premier surfing spot favored by locals and visitors alike.
Maybe you just want to enjoy the huge swimming Pool and bask in the warm sunshine or Barbeque some steaks, and sip your favorite cool beverage. Chat with new friends or just read a book… All of this and more awaits you.
If it is shopping you want Santiago offers a huge Mercado with everything from the eclectic to the practical, with some surprises thrown in. The fresh seafood is wonderful. Numerous shops and friendly locals are everywhere. It is just a short Taxi ride to Manzanillo Centro where everything from silver and gold jewelry to hand made blankets abound.
Also close are many restaurants featuring French, Italian, German, Chinese, and Sushi and of course local specialties, there is even a Burger King, KFC, and Subway for those with a yen for fast food. There is a championship Golf Course, La Mantarraya at Las Hadas, which has been rated one of the top 100 courses in the world. There are several other courses within 10- 45 minutes.
Tours are available of the city itself as well as of colonial Colima, where you can tour an active volcano. The several lagoons along the coast are excellent places to go bird watching; eco-tours are available to take you there. The beautiful city of Guadalajara is but 3 hours away by car or first class air conditioned bus.
We think our Condo is definitely a place worth considering for your next vacation to Mexico. With plenty to do and warm laid-back attitude, it is an attractive get-away-from-it-all spot with congenial people who enjoy the warm sunshine filled laid back days in Manzanillo.
