Thank you for spending a few moments looking at our condo. We are located in the heart and life of Gulf Shores. Our place is directly across the street from the beach and within 3 minutes you are standing on the beach after walking out the front door. We have worked hard to provide a condo for your vacation that you will be extremely pleased with in the cleanliness, furnishings and convenience to everything. We have received so many guest comments online for both of our condos that have led to many referrals and repeat visits. With the price of a vacation so high these days we have made it possible for you to have a great vacation at an affordable price and a place you will be proud to come back to.
Our condo is ideally suited for the medium and small family and romantic getaways. We can sleep 6 people in the 2 beds in the bedroom and the sleeper sofa in the living room. Just about every possible thing has been provided inside so you don’t have to bring your whole house to the beach. The kitchen is completely stocked. There are plenty of linens and towels so you won’t be bringing any from home. We have wifi internet connection if you bring a laptop. The furniture is comfortable and very conducive for napping and reading. Our balcony is the perfect place for that early morning cup of coffee or quiet time and that night time cup of coffee. If you eat out a lot there are a number of restaurants of local flavor within walking distance from the condo and the stores can be walked to also.
We are not detached owners of the condo. We actively manage our condos and simply love coming to the beach. We made our condos the way we would like them to be when we are vacationing. You will be dealing directly with us and no management firm. We love Gulf Shores and will answer every question you have and supply you with information that gives you a head start when you come here.

Why the Owner Chose Gentle Winds East
Gulf Shores has always been our favorite place to go to. For many years we would come here on vacation and wished we could own a place here. Then we moved to Mobile and made the big move to buy a condo. Then one year later we couldn't resist it and bought a second one in the same complex. We must be crazy but we love it. A third is not far behind in another complex. Stay tuned.

Our condos are close to everything. You can walk to many things. Of course we hope you are coming for the beach. Our beaches are the prettiest beaches anywhere in the United States. Uniquely, we are hoping you have saved enough money on rent that you will have money left over for fun, eating and shopping. The beach is free. Walking and running are free. Everything else costs. Rating 5 out of 5 Simply put--The very best condo experience ever Kathy Ann Ferriday, LA Review Submitted: October 16, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009 Everything in the condo was wonderful--well appointed.It's location made it really easy to get to and for me, a 1st timer to the area, Randy and Lisa just made everything so easy--I was down in Gulf Shores for the shrimp festival and the artists set up around me were irritated that they had further to travel and it cost more to stay for 4 nights at a cheap motel than I paid for the entire week. The condo was the best and just up one flight of stairs. Access to the beach is even easier than expected because you cross the street right at the light at the condo property. My favorite restaurant was Mike's, about 1/2 mile from the condo. Bring your bicycles as there are bicycle paths everywhere. This condo is exceptional but add Randy and Lisa to the mix and the entire experience is heaven-sent.

The was our first time in Gulf Shores, so we weren’t sure what to expect of the area. When we come back, this is definitely where we’ll want to stay again. Very clean, very quiet (when we were there.) The stoplight made crossing the street to the beach a breeze, so don't worry about that. The kitchen was very well equipped. You couldn’t ask for more. My husband and I spent a week there and had a wonderful time. You are centrally located to alot of great places. Restaurants and shops are close. The beach is right across the street, easily accessible. All kinds of activities are close. We spent an afternoon sailing and I've never been so relaxed. We were only about 30 minutes or so from Pensacola where we went and watched the Blue Angels practice. I was amazed beyond words. We plan to go back. There is no getting bored there. Randy was on every detail about our arrangements which made it so very easy. We just showed up and enjoyed ourselves. No fuss!

It had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and is beautifully furnished and cared for. The owners are wonderful people to do business with and very attentive to their guests needs. The location is great, within walking distance to the center of Gulf Shores and many restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

We had a wonderful week in Gulf Shores due greatly to the condo location and information provided by Randy and Lisa. We found the condo to be exactly as pictured on the website. My husband and I were on vacation with our teenage daughter and her friend. The location to the beach was close and safe enough that the girls could go walking without worry. The condo was very comfortable and furnished to make us feel completely at home. We did not experience any problems, but there were plenty of information and telephone contact numbers left just in case we needed them. This was definitely a worry free vacation, and I will recommend this property to others.

“First, thank you for a marvelous spring break for our family, especially since we did not think we would be able to afford one. The decor, furnishings and great location helped make it a memorable family vacation. Our ever growing family fit comfortably, even during the rainy days, and that’s saying allot for a family of six. Upon arriving the condo was in pristine order, it was fully furnished including all kitchen utensils, which helped save us a substantial amount of money. When we thought there was a problem with one of the lights, we call you and received a call back in less than 10 minutes. If that weren’t enough, the condo’s location was just as appealing, we were in the midst of all the action Gulf Shores and the local area has to offer. In just one short week we were able to walk right across the street to enjoy the beach each day, as well as check out other attractions such as: Gator Alley, the Naval Museum, Gulf Shores Zoo and all the local shops. Since coming back home, we have told countless friends and family about the condo, the great service, and amount of fun we had at Gulf Shores for such a competitive price. The place was beautiful and very well maintained. It was very beach accessible and in town, which was great for our late night hunger pangs.
