Secluded lake front property with 800'private shoreline and private floating dock that can accommodate 3 boat tie ups. Lake Murray is host to numerous fishing tournaments. Located approximately 90 minutes drive from Masters Golf Tournament and 30 minutes from world famous Columbia Zoo and Botanical Gardens, SC State Museum and State capital building in Columbia, S. C. Approx. 45 minutes from Congaree National Park.
House is 1800 sq. ft.of heated/cooled space not including a large screened sleeper porch (450 sq. ft.) overlooking the lake. Located in cove famous for striper fishing. House has adjacent cooking shed with grills, smokers and a large pit used for cooking a whole hog or ribs/chicken/steaks for a large crowd.
Picnic tables outside. Four bedrooms (1K, 2Q, 2Q, 1Q), 2 baths. Large screened porch has a comfortable sitting area, dining area and twin beds for sleeping safely "outdoors." Heart pine flooring in kitchen/den/dining and hall. Bedrooms are carpeted for your comfort. Ceiling fans in the living area, two bedrooms and screened porch. Wood fireplace located in the living area and wood is provided for chilly nights under the moonlight. Private boat ramp for unlimited launches on property.

Our group of 8 golfers stayed in this home for Masters week 2011, and thorougly enjoyed it. Everything you need is supplied, the furnishings and beds are just as comfy as home. The property is very quiet but is just a short trip to the grocery stores. The golf courses in the area are very good, and a pontoon boat ride over to Timberlake G & CC is highly recommended. The lake is very clean, and there is so much to see out there. We were there during a fierce storm and the owners were in contact with us helping with anything they could. Great people to deal with. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We totally enjoyed the peace and quietness of this home and are definately planning on returning again. The house was very well maintained and supplied with everything that you need to enjoy your stay. The kids really enjoyed the fishing and the swimming area. There is space for at least 3 boats at the dock. The exterior area of the house is well shaded and was cool even during the 90 degree weather. The grill area was one of our very favorite place to enjoy during our stay.

We rented this house for a family reunion of sorts and had ten to thirteen people there at any given time. The property was very secluded and beautiful and perfect for a nice relaxing week but close enough to town that we managed to go to Walmart about every other day and my brother who is on dialysis was able to have treatments twice in Leesville while we were there. The fish weren't really biting that week but it was really fun trying as the water front was right out the back door. We had a great time grilling one night out in the cooking shed and was able to avoid alot of expense eating out by preparing most meals in the well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, in fact my brother said one of them was the most comfortable he had ever slept in. I personally enjoyed the sleeping porch especially the night it was pouring down rain. We did miss internet access but we were supposed to be on vacation, right? Overall it was a very nice experience and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
