If gambling is not your thing, this property is a five minute walk (three short blocks) or two minute car ride to gorgeously kept Jersey beaches. When you come in off the beach,(badges provided by owner) you can rinse off in the outdoor shower.
The interior of the house welcomes you with a wide open living room with attached dining room-- couches and chairs aplenty to flop in after a day at the AC outlet stores (The Walk.) Decor is comfortable and very eye-appealing.
Den off kitchen with futon for sleeping with small TV as well. Margate City is 1 mile south. Nightclubs and wonderful restaurants along the bayside in Margate. Be sure to try Steve and Cookies for fine dining.
Ventnor also has great restaurants, the best part is they deliver! Jo-Jo's and Sack O'Subs. Great cheese steaks! The best feature about Ventnor City is its quiet boardwalk. Wake up and mosey up to the boards.
Take your morning jog or bike ride. Makes you feel healthy and totally renewed. Drop in one of the many corner cafes for your bagel and coffee. Go back after dinner when the dusk sky has changed to pink, yellow, and turquoise.
Thursday evenings, free concerts are offered on the beach at Newport Ave.-right in front of the Cultural Center (formerly the Ventnor Library.) Bring your beach chair and relax while being entertained. |
