The entries below are from the quest book at the property. 7/12/08 Your stories (books) are wonderful. It’s a beautiful view. I love the canoe ride. Olivia 7 years old! We had a wonderful and relaxing week together at your comfortable lodge. Thank you for letting us stay at your home. The Revels Family 7/19-7/26/08 We have had a wonderful time here this week. Your home is very comfortable and welcoming. We have spent many an hour on the deck reading, socializing, and planning for next year. The lake has been very quiet, so kayaking has been a true pleasure. We have seen deer, ospreys, eagles, and what we believe to be an otter or muskrat swimming just off of the dock. The fishing was so-so, but that’s OK, we had plenty to eat. The guys love to cook, and did they ever. Thanks for having all the gadgets we needed to whip up some wonderful meals. The Naffins and Olivers 8/2-8/8/08 Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home. We had a wonderfully relaxing time up here on Boot Lake. We’ve enjoyed many days out on the lake, evenings playing games around the table, and late nights star gazing. We particularly loved Scattergories and the puzzle with the train. The fishing wasn’t so hot, but we also saw eagles, deer, loons, and the notorious otter/muskrat (?). The memories we’ve made and the laughter we shared will echo off the rolling waves as Boot Lake slowly fades out of sight. Thank you! The Sesterhenns
