Miss Sophies Sunday Haus, a recently restored 1880s Falkwerk style cottage with 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room, kitchen/breakfast area. The Cottage was originally built and used by the Scheunemann family when they rode their horses or buggy into New Braunfels from the family ranch on Saturdays to shop and then attend church on Sundays. Then they would pack up their supplies and rid back out to the ranch. Sunday Houses were a common arrangement in the 1800s German communities of Central Texas.
