Welcome to the east side of the Big Island where stargazing is truly a heavenly experience! This picture perfect architecturally unique home is located just a block from the beautiful blue Pacific in the ever popular Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision.
Convenient to Hilo, the Volcanoes National Park and historical Pahoa, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is furnished with 2 double & 1 queen bed. With its large open and airy cathedral ceilings and warm beautiful wood flooring this vacation home is the perfect escape for that Hawaiian vacation that you have planned for. The tropical furnishings and colorful fabrics of this home definitely say that you have arrived in the islands.
The large kitchen opens to the living area and is perfect for cooking up those island meals. Steal away to the private and quiet loft with its own lanai to start reading that book that you keep promising you are going to start. There Is 1 bedroom and 1 bath on the main entertaining level of the home, a 2nd story loft bedroom with a double bed and, for extra privacy, there is a 2nd bedroom with its own bath and mini kitchen on the first level with its own entrance. Perfect for those 2 couples that want to travel together and have their own space, too.
All of the modern conveniences that you will want for your vacation destination to include washer and dryer and DISH satellite are for you here at Hale Papa Lani. If you just absolutely, positively have to check your emails, then you can do so here with a dial up connection or drive into historical Pahoa town and people watch at the local Internet café with it's terrific island ambiance. But, don't spend too much time on that computer, you have sight seeing to do!
The beautiful blue Pacific Ocean is viewable through the lush foliage. Listen closely, was that a whale I heard? For a larger group of 6 to 8, check out Hale Kahakai which we also manage and is conveniently located right next door to Hale Papa Lani.

The description and photos do not do the property justice. This was a great place to stay. I stayed with my family- husband, 5 yr old daughter, mother and mother-in-law. The owners were very accommodating to our requests. We needed to arrive earlier that check in time, and with prior approval- it was arranged. These guys thought of everything, even the games, my daughter thought were especially for her. We met the cleaning crew, and they were very friendly, and helpful. This was a perfect home away from home. It seemed to be centrally located to where we needed to go- Hilo, Volcano, Kalapana. We rented the entire house- the 2 bedrooms, and the mother in law apt. It was great; very spacious. We live in the country, so the surroundings were nice to have- the threes, plants and flowers. We had cable TV, a washer and drier- which came in handy, and even a gas grill. The house is beautiful, and the scenery was marvelous. Comments and books left on the tables were very helpful. The owners even took the time to leave emergency information. If we make it back to the area, we will certainly stay here; if not, we will look to see if Ron and Mark have other rentals on the other side of island. Only down fall- mosquitoes- which can't be avoided.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.
