Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1400 sq ft, year round home located on Little Traverse Bay. Beautiful view of the Bay, boats passing by and if you get up early enough, you just might see the local eagle patrolling for food.
The perfect get away spot. Just show up with your clothes and your personal grooming supplies. Fully stocked kitchen (but you're on vacation, so why cook), towels and bedding supplied.
Nine miles from Charlevoix and Petoskey, 14 miles from Boyne City, and Harbor Springs is just around the Bay. You can not visit all the fantastic restaurants in two weeks. If you choose, you can stock up on groceries and just sit on the beach to read the week away.
Excellent shopping opportunities, places to hunt for antiques, swimming (bring your water shoes and beach towel) and if you are a golfer, you are in nirvana. Biking/walking trail that runs to Charlevoix with a right turn at the top of the hill and if you turn left, you can ride all the way to Harbor Springs.
Two outstanding State Parks within 15 miles of the cottage with boat launches if you own a boat. Walloon Lake and Lake Charlevoix close by too. For the adventurous, try the ride along 119 to Cross Village (you must go to Legs Inn in Cross Village if you like Polish food).
Several nearby rivers and small lakes if you are a fisherman. If you have kayaks or a canoe, again lots of water to paddle. You'd better call quickly as I might change my mind and just go spend the summer there myself. Spotless!

Why the Owner Chose Charlevoix
My husband and I love this area. At various times in our lives, we have owned another property, lived and spent summers sailing this area. We will retire in a few years up here and be able to enjoy this bit of paradise daily.
The Unique Benefits at this
There is a biking trail that runs for over 25 miles. There are many historic sites within 50 miles. Excellent restaurants, shopping within 10 miles. Many beautiful golf courses, people watching in Charlevoix, Petoskey or Harbor Springs, historical architecture, antique shops, sailing, smaller lakes nearby for fishing or fishing in the bay, canoeing rivers and lakes, the beach. Historic Mackinaw Island within 1 hour drive. Beautiful sunsets and much more than you could not possibly see if you stayed a whole month.

Our entire family loves to come to stay at the beach during any season. Summer is the favorite, followed by fall with the many colors and great tours nearby. Winter skiing is loved by all and when spring finally gets here, we are all ready for the lake to warm up and become swimmable again.
