Estrella De Mar. This brand new oceanview condo promotes relaxation the moment you cross the threshold. As you open the door, your gaze falls upon the turquoise blue ocean and clear blue sky beyond the patio doors. Flooded with natural light, the breezy interior is inspired by the natural beauty of the Dominican. Our condo, Estrella De Mar is located in Playa Cofresi. A scenic ten minute drive west of downtown Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Everything you need for a perfect vacation is at your fingertips: 24 hour security in our gated community, full time housekeeper to keep the condo tidy. She will prepare the most delicious breakfasts and lunches in the fully equipped kitchen, with all the amenities. For dinner, enjoy an scrumious meal in or try one of the fantastic restaurants on our bay.
The furnishings within the 1440 square feet of living space are luxurious. The principle bedroom is complete with a king bed, full ensuite bath, large closets and a document safe. Your private terrace faces the ocean along with the mountains, is the perfect spot to take a nap or read a book while being lulled by the sound of the ocean in the background. A swim in one of our two pools or plunge right into the ocean, this completes the day. The guest accommodation hosts a queen size bed and its own private terrace. Our condo accommodates four adults or two adults and two children. Not too worry there is wireless internet (WIFI) and cable TV to keep in touch with the outside world. To ensure a great night's sleep, each bedroom has it’s own individual air conditioning unit with remote.
The grounds of the condo complex are impeccably manicured, providing a beautiful backdrop of vibrant color that only the Caribbean can bestow. The immaculate pool area consists of an upper pool, intimate in size with stunning views of the ocean, with a waterfall linking it to the full size pool below. The pool deck beckons you with lounge chairs and umbrellas, a perfect place to spend a relaxing day under the Caribbean sun. The open-air poolhouse is a great place to unwind with a drink after an enjoyable day of sightseeing.
The Eastern Trade Winds and warm, turquoise ocean waters, make it an ideal playground for at our beach. Cofresi Bay is like nothing you've experienced before! Amazing international cuisine, dancing, music - it's really an experience you'll never forget! As you browse the local beach shops, the myriad of languages spoken add to the bohemian flair of this private area. Take your sandals off and allow the sand and surf to tickle your toes.
When you arrive at the airport in Puerto Plata or Santiago, we can arrange a personal driver for you who picks you up and brings you directly to Playa Cofresi.
But a truly spectacular vacation isn't only about resting - you have afterall come to the quaint bay of Cofresi! The beaches of the Domincan are numerous and each have a personality of their own. Cabarete is fast becoming internationally famous for extreme water sports, kitesurfers and windsurfers from around the globe flock to these beaches. You can be right in the middle of all the action! Sosua Beach is a must-see. With its picture-postcard perfect beach located on a crescent shaped bay with clear warm waters which are deep shades of turquoise. It offers beach shack proprietors selling their wares and welcoming watering holes offering the perfect spot to watch and meet beautiful people from all over the world. You can snorkle to the reefs or sail to Paradise Island. Take some time to enjoy the many tours/activities offered such as cascading down waterfalls, snorkeling at Playa Rusia, caving, whale watching, golfing at the famous Robert Trent Jones course, horseback riding along the beach, catamaran excursions and the list goes on! It's paradise waiting for you!
