The Harbor House is an older cape with crooked floors and narrow staircase. It is only a block from the Harbor where all the festivals happen and very close to the new train station. It is about a five block walk to downtown, with all its restaurants, museums and galleries.
Downstairs, the house has a bedroom with a queen bed and a sink for tooth brushing. In the living room there is a DVD player and a large movie collection. There is a porch area with a sleep sofa. There is also a dining room and eat-in full kitchen.
Upstairs is a bedroom with two twin beds and another with one twin bed. The bathroom is upstairs and has a tub shower. There is a barbecue grill in the back yard and a picnic table. The utility room behind the kitchen can store bikes and canoes. All you need to bring is groceries. Perfect for families.
Rockland has ferry service that can get you over to the islands of North Haven and Vinalhaven for a day trip. You can also drive about 20 minutes to Lincolnville and jump on the ferry to Islesboro or drive down to Port Clyde and catch the ferry to Monhegan for a nice day trip.

We love the midcoast area and when this funky little house came up for sale, we jumped on it. Now we go up whenever we can and always find something new to see or do.

This area is so full of natural beauty and interesting people and places, that we feel like we never have enough time there.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The house is a short walk from downtown with all its restaurants, shops and galleries. Also we have the Harbor, one minute away and the train. We could even walk to the ferry terminal and get off in Vinalhaven. We only need the car for the occasional trip to Camden.
