Port Royal is located just ten minutes from downtown historic Beaufort, five minutes from Parris Island, and twenty minutes from the beach at Hunting Island State Park.

Some local events that you will not want to miss are Beaufort's Waterfront Festival, Beaufort's Fall Festival of Homes and Gardens, Beaufort's Shrimp Festival, and Port Royal's Crab Festival and Oktoberfest.

The cottage is located just 45 minutes from Savannah, 30 minutes from Hilton Head Island, and an hour from Charleston.
