Our home was completed in March 2008-brand new, interior decorated, with all the amenities. The home has central a.c. throughout the home. We have a UV Filter water purification system throughout the house(no other home in HP has this). The house is equipped with cable tv, telephone and WIFI/Internet. In addition, our home has a 500 gallon back up water tank, in case the water in the community goes out(which happens periodically).
Hermosa Palms is a very safe, gate-guarded, beautiful community. Our home has one of the best locations in the neighborhood. It is located directly behind the beachfront pool/ocean(fifty steps). The surf is great year round and not crowded. Enjoy taking a stroll down the exotic black sand beach filled with interesting seashells. Hermosa Beach is known for its turtle nesting. Sometimes you can participate in releasing the newly hatched turtles to the sea. The beachfront pool is resort style-without the crowds. You will frequently see the beautiful scarlet macaws fly over and stop in the treetops above the pool.
Playa Hermosa and the surrounding towns have plenty to do. Crocodile tours, horseback riding, canopy tours, rainforests, mangrove monkey tours, shopping, etc. Playa Hermosa has some great little restaurants with fresh fish, sushi, delicious smoothies, and much more..

We lived in Costa Rica for 6 months to learn Spanish and give our kids a cultural experience outside of the United States. We have traveled immensely throughout Costa Rica and other countries and realized the best place is Hermosa Palms!
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love the community feel of Hermosa Palms, everyone who owns and rents here are wonderful people. Surfing is epic most of the year(according to my extreme surfer husband and 3 boys). Our neighborhood is very safe and quiet, too.

Our family had the BEST post-Christmas vacation here. The house was perfect - close to the pool/beach yet quiet. We love to cook and the kitchen had every necessary appliance, utensil, etc. Killer waves, beautiful sunsets, whitewater rafting, waterfalls, ziplining: we didn't want to leave!! We'll definitely be back!!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

Our family of nine people had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home! It was clean, cool, and spacious, with all of the equipment that we needed to live comfortably for two weeks in July, 2009. The property is lovely, as is the pool which fronts on the ocean. I would highly recommend this home to all who would like a vacation in Costa Rica on the Pacific Coast--nearby to many interesting attractions and adventures!

Our family stayed in August and the home and area exceeded our expectations. Hermosa Palms is a gem in Costa Rica. Excellent, friendly staff/security, a resort-level pool and (if you surf) an uncrowded tropical beach break. We surfed quality surf from 2-8 ft for 10 days straight. The home is a showpiece for the area, gourmet kitchen, flat- screen tv w/cable and the upstairs outside shower is not to be missed. Great local markets and restaurants. Plenty of tropical activities in the surrounding areas but Hermosa Palms is so relaxing, you may not want to leave.

We spent a fabulous Thanksgiving week in this spectatcular home! The home is peaceful and extremely relaxing. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is great for kids and those without, the beach is endless great for long walks/runs and there is so much fun stuff to do! It had everyhting we needed! It was the best vacation we have ever had. We can't wait to book another trip! The Fraziers
