  We had a FANTASTIC stay at this property in Kahana! The pictures online are nice, but the property is even nicer in person. The condo was clean and well-maintained. It was big and spacious enough for our entire family of 9. The children had a blast in the pool and at the beach, which was beautiful and tranquil. We flew our kites and enjoyed building sand castles together. Being that we were there on easter sunday, we enjoyed an easter egg hunt on the grounds of the property as well. It was PERFECT! All in all, we had an excellent stay at this property, and we'd recommend it to anyone. We hope to return again in the near future..........

  Wonderful access to beach and pool. Great for families with children. Worn but comfortable furniture, worn but functioning kitchen and laundry appliances and well stocked kitchen supplies in fair to good condition. Our family felt at home there. The owner was very responsive by email to questions about the accommodations and local attractions. Our grandchildren (3) were under 5, so our daughter rented 2 cribs or child beds and some toys more appropriate for their ages from a local facility, as the accommodations were geared more for families with older children. Good value for the price. Would recommend it to friends and would stay again if we had occasion to.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Kahana is awesome - close enough, yet far away! The condo was beautiful with plenty of space. It's a quiet location on the beach with incredible views of Molakai and whales everywhere (take your binoculars). Turtles too! Was nice to cook on the two grills by the pool and just chill while taking in the view. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (cookware and utensils), wireless internet connection and washer/dryer. Oh, and the amazing sunsets! Very close walk to McDonalds, convenience store, bank, gas station, Maui Brewing Co., other restaurants and more. Just a short drive (5-10 min) from Ka'anapali (Whaler's Village and Lahaina). Emailed owner while there with a question and received an almost immediate response! Property Mgmt company also responded to a maintenance call pretty quickly. Eat breakfast at the Gazebo Restaurant one morning - get there about 30 minutes before they open! Check it out it's about 1.5 miles north. Great place to stay, we were very pleased!

  We were very excited to come to this condo for our Maui trip. The place is just beautiful and it is steps from the ocean. You can see the ocean from the patio where I enjoyed my morning coffee! The pots/pans are outdated, but do provide the purpose needed. I felt that the rental company was extremely rude. We had made reservations for 9 people and had towels enough for 8, when I called them they told me that I probably wasn't able to get any extra towels and were very rude about it. In the end though, we got the towels, but it really turned me off. I thought that there was wi-fi but there isn't. You need an ethernet cable. Wish it was provided for us. Otherwise, the pool was wonderful and the place is beautiful. A little noisy with some of the neighbors running around. Also being on the first floor there was a lot of noise coming from upstairs. I would definitely rent again from the Kahuna Outrigger, but I would do a 2nd floor unit and one that is more "ocean front".

That is completely unacceptable to us and we will be having a chat with them to make sure that they treat all of our guests with kindness and respect that you deserve. We do offer free WIFI; no Ethernet cable required for our wireless router. we haven't heard about any problems with the WIFI with other guests, so I'm not really sure what happened there. I will make sure our cleaning crew or maintenance workers did not accidentally disconnect while cleaning or doing repairs. We apologize for any negative experience and are going to work very hard to make sure everything is spot on. Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us!

  Unfortunatley, my partner and I were unable to take this trip we had planned due to family emergency, but the others that were staying stated that the accomidations were excellent,,, if we have a chance to come back to Maui, we will be renting this place again....Mahalo...

  We stayed here for 10 days after Christmas and very much enjoyed this place. We were 4 adults and 4 kids under 10 and this place was just perfect. The secluded little beach was only a few steps away. Since this is a ground-floor unit, it was easy to get to and from the beach, pool, and grills. 2 grills are shared among all 16 units. One grill ran out of gas one night, but the tank was promptly replaced upon request the next day. One of the window slats of the condo fell out, but someone from the local management company was there to repair it within hours of calling them. The pool is not heated and was very brisk this time of year. Most of the kids couldn't stand being in there very long. On New Year's Eve, the neighbors next to this complex put on a sensationally noisy fireworks show at midnight.

  We were 4 adults and 3 kids staying here and it couldn't have been better. Great place, great location! Loved how everything was so close (beach, pool, some restaurangs and a little food store for example). Very friendly and helpful owner. I really hope to come back one day.

  Our 3 families had such a fun time at the Kahana Outrigger. There were plenty of beds and seating for the 6 adults and 3 children. The pool and beach are wonderful and we were there all the time. Thank you for everything and we hope to be back next year!

  This is the second stay for my family in this condo and there is nothing we could have wanted that was not already provided. The condo is clean and well furnished and the kitchen had all the tools needed to make meals when staying in. The location is right on the water in a peaceful nieghborhood, but not far from fun spots in town. We recommend staying here and look forward to our next visit!!

Everything we needed was available and than-you for the activity directory. This was our firit time to hawaii and we certainly plan on coming back next year. thank-you the McGough family
