This spacious and contemporary two bedroom condo sleeps up to six persons. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a full size bed and access to a private bathroom. The living room area offers a great view of the pool and garden area (from the balcony), has a double pullout sleeper sofa (which easily accommodates two adults), and is complete with a TV with basic cable channels. The dining area has a table and seating accommodating four persons. The condo has two full bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary appliances such as refrigerator, stove with oven, utensils, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster and drinkable water. This second floor condo is located within Playa Kaan - a gated development with 24/7 security on site as well as a swimming pool, tropical garden area, waterfall and sun deck. Playa Kaan is located right in the heart of Playa del Carmen, only 3 ½ blocks from the white sand beach and 1 ½ blocks from the famous 5th Avenue with all the fun shops, great restaurants and nightlife. It’s the perfect location for visitors who prefer to have everything Playa del Carmen has to offer at a short walking distance.
Playa del Carmen (or just "Playa") is the center of the Riviera Maya, which runs from south of Cancun to Tulum and the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve. Playa is a stop for several cruise ships which dock at the nearby quarry docks, about six miles south of the city. The Xcaret Eco Park, a Mexican-themed "eco-archaeological park", is a popular tourist destination located just south of the town in Xcaret (pronounced "esh-caret"). Tourist activity in Playa del Carmen centers on Quinta Avenida, or Fifth Avenue, stretching from Calle 1 norte until Calle 34, a pedestrian walkway located just one or two blocks inland from the beach, which is lined with boutique hotels, shops, bars, and restaurants.
