Relax on the deck and let the world roll by. Choose the covered porch in front or the sun deck in the back. From either it's only a 5 minute walk to the sandy beaches of Fenwick Island and cooling your toes in the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the new house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and plenty of open space. Full kitchen and an outdoor gas grill.
Don't want to cook, there's plenty of food within a short stroll. Pizza, Ribs, Crabs, Ice Cream all between you and the beach, so it's all really close. Dunkin Doughnuts down on the corner and Fisher's Popcorn just across the street.
There's miniature golf and a water park down on the corner as well. Plenty of shops to browse in and another restaurant on the canal. Walk to the Ocean City bus stop and for a buck ride all day. Take the bus to the Ocean City boardwalk and amusement park. Lots of good old fashioned fun down there. Enjoy the bustle of Ocean City by day and come back to the quiet of Fenwick Island for the evening.
Want to go outlet shopping in Tax Free Delaware? There's three large outlet malls in Rehoboth Beach just 30 minutes north on Rt. 1. Lewes, just north of Rehoboth Beach is an excellent quaint little town perfect for a little day trip.
Fenwick's beach has life guards on duty, is quiet and not at all crowded. There is also access to a large state park beach just north of Fenwick on Rt. 1 with plenty of parking. The park has life guards, showers, restrooms, snack bar, and umbrella rentals.
Things to do in the Fenwick Island area.
Fenwick Island is called "The Quiet Resort" and consists of about 14 blocks. The shops, restauraunts, stores and activities are an easy walk from the house. The town hall has a good playground, a basketball court, a shuffle board court and a picnic area.
Watersports - charter boat fising, wind surfing, swimming, crabbing, clamming, boating, kayaking, jet skiing, sailing, sport fishing, beachcombing, surfing, and shelling.
Golfing - Bear Trap Dunes (Ocean View), Salt Pond (Bethany Beach), Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club (Dagsboro), Kings Creek Country Club (Rehoboth Beach), Old Landing Golf Course (Rehoboth Beach), Rehoboth Beach Country Club (Rehoboth Beach), The Rookery (Milton) and Sussex Pines CC (Georgetown).
We've lots of activity all around us. We go to the action when we want, and leave it behind when we're done. No wild parties outside our door when we want quiet. Yes, we have a great place here and I know you'll love it as well. |
