This is our retreat when you are not here, we are both architects, and so it has a stylish ambience and attention to detail so different from many rentals.Beautiful Pottery Barn/Coastal Living furnishings and local art. Main floor living room with HDTV/DVD/internet, dining room, kitchen and laundry. Both bedrooms are on the private second level: a four-poster queen size bed and two shutter-style twin beds. Luxurious linens, large closets with luggage racks, generous dressers and ceiling fans. The full bathroom with shower and soaking tub is off the shared hall, a half bath is on the main level. There's also a sunny private patio to relax with your coffee, lunch, or a local-themed book from our library. We have an extensive library of Beaufort-themed books and movies including The Prince of Tides, Glory and The Great Santini. Imagine a stroll right from your door for morning coffee on the waterfront as the shrimp boats head out, exploring bookstores and boutiques, or viewing antebellum mansions and gardens on foot at your leisure. Walk to waterfront, museum, shops, dining, performing arts center. It’s a short 20 min. drive to the beach and lighthouse. We provide the beach towels! 8 miles to Paris Island Gate 45 minutes to Savannah 1 hour to Charleston Prefered minumum stay is 7 days, but call or email us to discuss your schedule.
