This luxurious and extremely spacious vacation condo is situated in this brand new luxury condo complex just a short walk from Canmore's downtown, and on the doorstep of Banff National Park & Kananaskis Country. Your vacation condo is luxuriously appointed with natural elements throughout: wood, stone, leather, and natural cork flooring. Your every need is catered for with nine appliances and quality cookware to satisfy even the most discerning of cooks not forgetting a dedicated wine cooler for wine lovers. The spacious open plan dining and lounge area provides a great area for entertaining with a 42"TV, iPod/CD stereo, fireplace, dining suite for 6 and access to the balcony. The lounge also includes a queen size pull out sofa bed. There are 3 bedrooms (2 kings & 1 queen) each with sumptuous mattress and bedding. Two of the bedrooms have warming fireplaces and 32" plasma TVs. One of the King bedrooms can also be configured as twin beds if required. The bathrooms are ensuite with walk-in aqua therapy tubs / multi head showers, and artist inspired fossil inlaid concrete counter tops. One of the bathrooms also has a beautiful soaker tub for you to enjoy a luxury spa-like experience! There is abundant storage and closet space throughout, together with a utility room providing a washer and dryer.
This condo has it's own private outdoor balcony with BBQ and outdoor furniture allowing you to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains.
Secure underground heated parking for 2 cars is included as well as your own large bike / ski storage area. There is elevator access directly from the parking area to your condo.

We could not have been more pleased with the condo at Solara. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The patio offered a beautiful view of the mountains every morning and evening. The kitchen was well-equiped and enabled us to have many meals 'at home'. The bathrooms were beautiful and we love the custom shower in the master. The beds were all comfortable and the linens extremely nice. The presence of a washer & dryer really helped us as well (with 3 kids). There was still some construction presence (which was not really an issue). Seemed like a couple of small items in the condo still needed attention but it did not detract from our experience. Mike (the owner) was a pleasure. He made sure we knew exactly what to expect. The location is great. 5 minute drive to shopping and dining in Canmore. 15-20 minutes to Banff. We were all over the place and Canmore made a great central location for us. All in all, it was a fantastic stay at a first class location. Our only real issue was with the air conditioning. The one in the master suite worked great. The other part did not seem to function properly at all. Found it too warm most of the time. Finally just turned it off and left the windows open at night. This worked fine.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Beautiful condo. Very tastefully decorated with all of the amenities you need for a great get away. Really enjoyed the spacious great room area and the king size beds were fantastic. The bathrooms were amazing, truly the most luxurious accommodation we have enjoyed in Canmore. Great referral given for yoga instruction. Overall a great value for the money.

We were very impressed with this property. We were looking for a place to have an early family Xmas get together. This unit was great for that, because each family had their own bedroom and bathroom, and we also had a large common area to gather for meals, games etc. I loved the views from every window, beautiful.

Myself and 6 girlfriends recently rented this amazing condo for a weekend girls getaway. It was even more beautiful than pictured, and the mountain views from the living room and dining room were spectacular. The master bedroom was so spacious! It was a great location for outings in Canmore and a night out in Banff. There are 3 great bathrooms! We did expect 3 showers, but were quite alright with the 2 showers there (one bathroom has only a bathtub). The 'penthouse' is worth it for the vaulted ceiling in the living room and great views across the complex. The condo was very quiet, and well-maintained. Only things we missed in the kitchen were cutting boards. Fabulous condo - well worth it, and amazing for a larger group!

My friends and I stayed in this beautiful penthouse condo in 2008. The condo is extremely spacious and furnished to a very high standard. It's ideal for a family or a group of friends. It has everything you'll need for a self catering holiday. Thanks to my friends being great cooks, we were able to enjoy some lovely meals in the evenings after a full day of skiing in the nearby resorts. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for good value, high quality accomodation near Banff and Canmore.

Hi we stayed at this condo recently and we will most definitely revisit. The entire service and quality of the apartment was brilliant, each bedroom even has its own fireplace, the views are brilliant! I'd recommend this for great service, cost and brilliant apartment!

I was out in the Rockies in March this year and i stayed in the 3 bed penthouse and the apartment was amazing!!!...It had every thing we needed...On our arrival we entered the penthouse and our first impression was WOW!! we couldn't of ask for any thing else, it had every thing...thank you Mike we will be staying here again..
