Ocean Mist is located on Marine Terrace, one of the most coveted areas of Cambria. You can hear the roar of crashing waves from this very charming beach house, just 1 block from a very private beach, where surfers and seals compete for the perfect wave.

No detail has been overlooked. Every room is tastefully decorated with a touch of elegant whimsy. Throw on a terry cloth robe, sip a hot cup of coffee and relax in the massage chair while taking in the gorgeous ocean and sunset views. You may even catch a glimpse of the magnificent Gray Whale during migration season. Enjoy a scrumptious barbeque on a beautiful jeweled patio surrounded by magical twinkling lights with a clear view of a star-studded sky. Be sure to listen for sea otters and watch for the many deer that share our neighborhood.

We love pets and your furry friends are most welcome here. There is a lovely patio surrounded by a white picket fence, so your pets will have plenty of space to safely explore.

Turn right out of the front door and you will run into a panoramic bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. From there take a walk to our quaint Cambria villages and enjoy the numerous boutiques,galleries, gift shops, antique stores, wine tasting rooms, coffee houses and award-winning restaurants.

  • As soon as I got out of the car, I said to my husband, this is what I was dreaming of! The location is wonderful, the house a jewel. As we walked into the large patio, Napa the dog was greeted with a much-appreciated bowl of water. Waiting for us was a vase of flowers on the dining table. The entire experience was like staying at the lovely home of a good friend. Anything we needed was there, or immediately provided upon request. We enjoy cooking, and found the kitchen stocked with condiments and spices we couldn't have brought with us. The beach chairs and towels were a great addition. We enjoyed walking with the dog, and visiting wineries and the elephant seals. We will certainly be back.

  • We all had the same reaction the minute we walked in…..PERFECT! The entire place is light and airy, and you can see how much thought was spent on visual whimsy, tasteful decor and abundant comfort. What we didn’t bring from home, was found at Ocean Mist! We enjoyed a variety of nearby activities, from touring the wineries and Hearst Castle, to taking walks along the ocean and nearby nature preserve to observe the local deer wandering all over the place, then ending the day with sinking into the wonderfully comfy couch to watch the sun set. My dog Daisy loved the bird’s eye view of the area from the deck. The Owner was wonderful, her place was magical, and the entire experience unforgettable!
