Come and enjoy the beautiful views from this great cabin! It is called "Off the Beaten Path". You will find privacy and room to roam. The driveway leads you to a beautiful cabin surrounded by woods. We really take pride in our cabin, to assure you a beautiful, clean and welcoming place to visit.
It is about beautiful 15 minute drive from Wellsboro PA and about 20 minutes from the PA Grand Canyon. Close to Corning NY. Rails to Trails bike trail is about 10 minutes from home, as well as Tioga Central Railroad. Hammond Lake is very close by. Great for fishing, boating or just dipping your feet in the water!
Plenty of back roads to ride on or take a long afternoon walk. Check out the beautiful mountains!

Our home is fully furnished! One bedroom has a queen log bed and the other bedroom has a double log bed and a twin log bed. Each bedroom has lodge bedding such as bear or deer.
Two full bathrooms in the home. One has a beautiful cast iron soaking tub. We provide all the bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes. Soft soap in bear dispensers in each of the bathrooms, so no need to pack hand soap, we will have it there for you!
The kitchen has everything you might need - dishes, utensils, pots, pans, toaster, mixer, blender, full refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker. Dishtowels and cloths are in the drawers. Seating for 8 at the table.
Plastic wraps and foil are usually there also.
You will be welcomed with a basket of Folgers / Maxwell House coffee, tea, cocoa, and creamers.
Linens and towels are supplied, plus a washer and dryer.
We also provide paper products enough to get you started.
You will find firewood for your marshmallow roasting.
There is also a charcoal grill.
We have an extensive DVD library and plenty of books to read. Toys,games,and puzzles for all!
Our porch is furnished with log rockers so you can enjoy your
morning coffee or afternoon glass of ice tea. Watch the hummingbirds at the feeder.
You will love the outdoors and beautiful grounds that surround this cabin.

We purchased this home because of the location. It is private. but close enough to town.
It is just beautiful at the cabin. A great herb garden by the front door and a beautiful flower bed lines the drive.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
When we are at the cabin, we enjoy the time together as a family. Just to go outside and walk is a great pleasure.

My husband & I just stayed here for a couple of days this early October, 2011, and found it to be an absolutely gorgeous, clean, well-appointed, well-maintained house. It sits on a beautiful property surrounded by woods, literally off of a true country lane. We were able to take our dogs, and there's plenty of room for their running and playing outside. There is awesome hiking within a half-hour's drive, great walking throughout the property itself, and some good eateries in Wellsboro, about 15 minutes away. It is secluded, so be prepared for quiet, and wildlife, and utter peace. Oh, and an occasional cow in the road at night as you return from the days adventures....!

We had a lovely summer week at this cabin! The location is very quiet and the property is beautiful and well maintained. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. We especially appreciated the comfy bed and new kitchen stove. The area has many farm stands but the nearest store is a long way, about 12 miles and then back. The Wellsboro Diner was terrific for breakfast! It is best to prepare in advance for where you want to hike, because there's a lot to choose from! And if you don't know the area well it is very easy to get lost! We should have prepared better because the parks are so big, but if you want to hike it's easy to get in touch with the state park system and ask for maps and directions. I would really recommend doing this before you get there. We did get very lost on the way there because we understood the cabin to be in Wellsboro, it is actually in Middlebury Center. The house was lovely and we loved the back porch for meals and reading, and the fenced in horse paddock behind the barn to run our dogs! The owners are very kind and interested in their guests having a nice time, and we loved being there.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding of location, we try to make guests aware with the description it located about 10 - 15 minutes out of Wellsboro. The cabin is great for nature and privacy, and wonderful for relaxing. Tioga County has vast forests, and thank you for recommending to future hikers to be prepared! Thankful for having lovely guests like the Farrels!

Our family enjoyed this beautiful and well kept rental. The owner made our first time using VRBO.com a great success! We had a great time going to local favorites like the Grand Canyon of PA, Corning Glass Museum, and on a train ride. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy nature and time with friends or family.

The pictures dont do justice on the cabin. Beautiful cabin very clean and well kept. owner was very helpful had us call when we got there just to make sure we didnt need anything and everything was to our liking. Went hiking at the PA Grand Canyon (20 miles from cabin) Took nap on peaceful back porch listening to country surroundings, made mountain pies and smores in fire ring and ended perfect day with a relaxing bath with a glass of wine!!! Would highly recommend to stay here we will be back as soon as i need another getaway!!!!
