  What a beautiful place. So very clean and well equipped with everything we would need. The location is private with plenty of room to play! Everything at the home was wonderful! We will return!

  My husband & I just stayed here for a couple of days this early October, 2011, and found it to be an absolutely gorgeous, clean, well-appointed, well-maintained house. It sits on a beautiful property surrounded by woods, literally off of a true country lane. We were able to take our dogs, and there's plenty of room for their running and playing outside. There is awesome hiking within a half-hour's drive, great walking throughout the property itself, and some good eateries in Wellsboro, about 15 minutes away. It is secluded, so be prepared for quiet, and wildlife, and utter peace. Oh, and an occasional cow in the road at night as you return from the days adventures....!

  We had a lovely summer week at this cabin! The location is very quiet and the property is beautiful and well maintained. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. We especially appreciated the comfy bed and new kitchen stove. The area has many farm stands but the nearest store is a long way, about 12 miles and then back. The Wellsboro Diner was terrific for breakfast! It is best to prepare in advance for where you want to hike, because there's a lot to choose from! And if you don't know the area well it is very easy to get lost! We should have prepared better because the parks are so big, but if you want to hike it's easy to get in touch with the state park system and ask for maps and directions. I would really recommend doing this before you get there. We did get very lost on the way there because we understood the cabin to be in Wellsboro, it is actually in Middlebury Center. The house was lovely and we loved the back porch for meals and reading, and the fenced in horse paddock behind the barn to run our dogs! The owners are very kind and interested in their guests having a nice time, and we loved being there.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding of location, we try to make guests aware with the description it located about 10 - 15 minutes out of Wellsboro. The cabin is great for nature and privacy, and wonderful for relaxing. Tioga County has vast forests, and thank you for recommending to future hikers to be prepared! Thankful for having lovely guests like the Farrels!

  Our family enjoyed this beautiful and well kept rental. The owner made our first time using VRBO.com a great success! We had a great time going to local favorites like the Grand Canyon of PA, Corning Glass Museum, and on a train ride. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy nature and time with friends or family.

  The pictures dont do justice on the cabin. Beautiful cabin very clean and well kept. owner was very helpful had us call when we got there just to make sure we didnt need anything and everything was to our liking. Went hiking at the PA Grand Canyon (20 miles from cabin) Took nap on peaceful back porch listening to country surroundings, made mountain pies and smores in fire ring and ended perfect day with a relaxing bath with a glass of wine!!! Would highly recommend to stay here we will be back as soon as i need another getaway!!!!

  Me and my family stayed for a week in june. We loved the cabin and the seclusion. We are all looking forward to staying there again next year. Great vacation rental!
