I stayed here for NYE with my fiancé and a three other couples. With the warmth of the fireplace and awesome game room downstairs this place really felt like home - we had an absolutely fantastic time. The owner was very responsive when I had any questions. We could have easily slept 3-4 more people and the master suite is incredible! Don’t think twice about staying here.
Owner response:Thanks so much Chris! You were really fun!!

We just stayed at this house for Christmas 2011. The house had some really nice updates including an amazing master above the attached garage and a fully stocked kitchen great for cooking big meals in (they even have a crock pot!). However the floor plan is kind of a "maze" with the best bedroom far remove from the rest of the house. This would be perfect for 2 couples who need their space. Four bedrooms make it quiet spacious. We did have problems with accessing their wi-fi internet and where given excuses when asking about it. Did not have access the whole week! In addition to internet connection problems, we also had problems access the cable TV on several of the TV units for the entire stay. So no cable in the main living room and the 2nd master. Besides the tech nightmare the only other complaint is that the door knob in the kids room was broken and fell off when the kids tried to get out. Pretty scary for a four year old. But overall the house was nicely updated and again very spacious. Good price for the size of the house although it is located right on hwy 431 and does not have a view of the lake. Overall we had a very nice stay.

My family and I had the complete pleasure of staying in this home on vacation. What a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked through the door we felt at home, and yet at the same time spoiled rotten!!!! Everything about our time at the Christmas Cabin was perfect. As we have a large family so having a fully appointed kitchen and big screen TV's practically everywhere made it hard to even leave the home to go sightseeing. Nothing but the best certainly applies to our vacation stay here and the owners were just wonderful. You won't be diappointed as our family certainly wasn't...

My family rented this cabin in mid-July for a long weekend. My wife and I slept in the bedroom at the top of the stairs. At the end of the weekend our bodies were covered in bedbug bites. It took four doctors' visits and steroid injections to get the bites to disappear. The dermatologist, who saw the bites, agrees that they are from bedbugs. We had sleepless nights for two weeks because of the endless itching. Almost two months later, my wife still has a few pockmarks on her arms from the bites. We also had our home inspected to make sure we did not bring the bugs home. The most frustrating part of this is that the owner has completely disregarded our complaints. We simply requested a refund for part of the rental costs, to cover our doctors' and exterminators' fees. Her response has been to offer excuses and placate us. She admits there is "an epidemic" of bedbugs in the area and that she has her rental treated monthly. Our advice: AVOID THIS PLACE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Owner response:I had to fully investigate when the renters addressed this issue with me. We take great pride in Christmas Cabin!! All renters were clear and had a great time before and after. The great thing that came out of this is I realized that since there is no treating with DDT anymore, bedbugs are more prevalent. It only takes one from a traveler coming from somewhere. I have Christmas Cabin inspected monthly and treated monthly! I WILL NOT HAVE THEM AT CHRISTMAS CABIN !!

We spent the best week with family from all over the U.S. Plenty of parking for all of us. The owners answered their phones for any questions. We can`t wait to come back next year!!

We loved staying at this house! There was plenty of room for all 14 of us. The house was even stocked with air mattresses and extra bedding. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensil and spices. The refrigerator was well stocked with condiments and a few extras because we got in late our first night. The owner had all the outside lights on waiting for us. Pool table, ping pong and air hockey were played every night. We watched movies and it was so easy to order them on cable. They also sent us an e-mail with all the favorite local hangouts, restaurants, shopping, hiking and gave us passes to get into the private beaches. 1st class all the way! Our favorite was her reccommendation at the Lone Eagle Grill. Best food and music! Will be coming back next June!!

Perfect place to "land" after a long drive and after a long day snowboarding! The interior design was inspiring, I felt like I was at a 5 star resort. My favorite features: master bedroom suite, bathrobes, artistic floor coverings. My husband's: giant screen TV for that incredible hockey game between US and Canada! My kids' (teens): Pool table and air hockey. Almost too entertaining to want to go out and ski!

We stayed in this beautiful cabin for 5 nights. All four families enjoyed the clean and well equiped kitchen. I would say this is the best house ever that we rented in Lake Tahoe area. We definitely will consider to rent this house again if we go to ski at Mt. Rose.

We had the best mini vacation. Your home is so wonderful. We took our 3 boys snowboarding and skiing for the first time ever! (1st time for all of us actually). Diamond peak was alittle crowded, but going back to your house afterwards made it so worth it! We will definatly book this house again, it was perfect. For a little break away from busy life of three kids. Great house, great location, so many options!! Thank You

Carole is easy to deal with in every way. Place is attractive and appears very recently remodeled. Beds are all very comfortable and the bath for each BR is a real convenience. All appliances are higher end and near-new. Mt Rose and Diamond Peak ski areas are almost in the back yard, the wonderful Northstar is 20 minutes. Alpine Meadows and Heavenly are easy drives. Located out of town, but 5 minutes from anything you want in Incline Village. LR seating and lighting could be improved to handle 10 people comfortably. Kitchen is well-equipped for a large group. Master BR suite is huge, very deluxe, and completely segregated from the main part of the house. Value for price paid was high, we would return to this house.

This cabin is very well equipped and appears exactly as shown in the photos. There were 11 in our party, and the place still felt huge. The kitchen has anything you'd need to cook, such as oil, spices, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully furnished. The owners were very helpful(and patient!) in guiding us over the phone in the use of the living room's TV system and wood stove. What the photos don't show is how posh the master suite is! It's almost a cabin in itself, and private from the rest of the property. Very convenient location, near a Raleigh's supermarket and small shopping plaza, so you can buy all your food when you arrive. We came for a Winter stay, can't imagine how pretty it'd look in the summer!

My friends and family (16 of us) rented this beautiful home for a friend's wedding in Incline Village recently. Wow! The webpage describes the house exactly as it is-amazing. Easy to find, yet tucked into the side of the mountains only a short few minutes to town. The house was very clean and everything worked perfect. The rooms are incredible, especially the master suite. The owner was so helpful and accomodating, we are already planning a return trip this March. Also, 8 inches of snow at night, no problem. The driveway and walkways were cleared before we woke. Overall a 10. Plenty for the 2 kids that were with to have a blast too. Take a walk around the neighborhood when you go, it is beautiful. We feel lucky to have found such a wonderful home with such helpful owners. Sadly, we had to go back to Minnesota. See you in 4 months! ~Ryan O.
