  For the past 15+ years we have vacationed on the island of Maui for the month of February. We can no longer make the long plane trip there and where grateful to find this lovely condo. Most of our time was spent exploring the island and simply enjoying the lanai and the beautiful scenery. We spent our evenings in the condo which we found very comfortable and which met all of our needs. Joel and Denise were absolutely wonderful to deal with and were most attentive to our needs. They did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and easy and we were most grateful. We hope we can return again next year.

  We just got back from a wonderful return stay in Bradenton Beach and first time stay in this condo. It was fantastic! The location was different from where we've stayed in the past (more central 'downtown', if you can call it that) within walking distance of Bridge Street, shops, bars, restaurants, great ice cream (!?) and of course the beach. This condo is as direct Gulf-front as they get with stunning views and very easy access to the beach from right next to the parking garage. The only negatives - and I mention only in the interest of stating things I wish I knew beforehand not that they were really negative - was that the pool is a little smaller than I thought it would be. The picture is accurate, but I guess I just didn't realize the scale. It's also shaded which is great with little kids but can be chilly for adults. In the end, it wasn't an issue at all. The pool was never crowded and we had fantastic warm weather so the shade was welcome. Second, given the great central location the street-facing bedrooms can be a little bit loud from street noise and bar/music noise. It was only a real bother the first night (Saturday) and I contacted the owner about it, truly wondering if it was going to be every night and ruin our vacation. He was responsive, concerned and helpful. He contacted the bar to lower the music, and they did. He also assured me it is only on the weekends and it's not usually as loud as it was that night. I can confirm that we barely heard it the balance of the week and then the last night, Friday, we heard it again but it wasn't loud at all and they were finished up by 10. It ended up not being a big deal at all but I still wish I'd known about it going in just so I would have been prepared and known it wouldn't have been an all-week thing. We made a day trip to Disney World which is an easy 2 hour all interstate drive - totally doable. My Mom has commented that the beds there are more comfortable than hers at home and she's looking into buying a foam topper to add to her bed :) All in it was a fantastic vacation with unseasonably warm January weather and a very responsive and helpful host in Joel. Thanks again, Joel. I hope we get to visit again!

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

  My Grandma is in a wheelchair and she had absolutely no problems getting around and enjoying the beach. Trolley was also very accomodating, the drivers were wonderful. I have no complaints and we will be back again! :)

  This condo is Absolutely Fabulous! The view is so relaxing & wonderful. Everything was provided - we ate out and stayed in. Most days we ate breakfast in the condo, we split lunch in and out - most evenings we went out. Everything is within walking distance or just a short drive on Cortez. Joel - Steve & I are extremely please with your condo -feel free to use as an A+++ Rating! - This is the perfect vacation spot - we will return!

  Thank you Joel for being so accomodating to our ever changing schedule. These last 6 months have worn on us all. These last 10 days have been a much needed break and we can't thank you enough. Once we are through surgery & have more knowns in our life, we will for sure be back. You are a pleasure to work with and your home exceeds all expectations.   The Vac Place is in great condition & fully stocked with everything we needed. Awesome location. Comfortable accomodations for 4 adults & 2 children, TVs in every bedroom, so everyone did not have to watch disney channel with 6 yr old, refridge w/ water/ice dispenser saved money on bottled water & washer/dryer meant clean packed clothing.

  We really loved the hominess of your condo. You have thought of really every comfort. I felt very at home which is very hard for me to do. You have a beautiful home here and we especially loved your very large shower. The best part for me was the view. I loved waking up to see and hear the ocean. We are from the central part of Kansas which is the center of the United States, so obviously we were thrilled with every aspect of the ocean!! We hope to come back again soon.   We live only 30 minutes from this beautiful condo. We had everything we needed and then some. Everything was so clean, and very well taken care of. Our family of 7 stayed here very comfortably and my daughter and 2 grandsons came to visit for the day and were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful everything was. We felt very safe & secure here. The neighbors were so friendly and the cleaning staff was great. The view was breathtaking and the sunsets were absolutely Beautiful. We are coming back in November with the my husband's children and can't wait to share this hidden treasure with them as well. Joel was great to work with and the communication was outstanding. We will tell everyone about this Jewel we found. We felt so welcomed here - we really can't wait to return. Much Love & Happiness Susan Bailyn

  This place was so wonderful. The pictures do not do this place justice! Right behind you, you have a beautiful beach, in front you have shops & restaurants! The location was perfect.   This was the best rental we've had. The location is prime. The unit was a great size and was stocked with most of the comforts from home. Joel was great with communicating before and during our stay to ensure we were prepared and had what we needed.   We have been to AMI the last 3 years, but this is our first time staying here. We loved the place and felt right at home. Our young children were safe here and had room to be kids. The only thing I wish we could have is a lock on the front door that a young child can't reach. We chased our 2 year old a couple of times because the door wouldn't lock. We had a great time and will most likely be back next year! Thanks for sharing your home!

  This was our 4th visit to AMI and our 3rd time in this condo. We LOVE it here! This is probably the nicest unit we've ever rented - Joel & Denise really care about making guests feel welcome and comfortable. The weather didn't exactly cooperate this trip but we had a great time anyway. It's always relaxing to be near the water. We brought bicyles - its so nice to be able to ride where drivers are courteous to cyclists. :-) The highlight of the trip was probably the afternoon we spent sailing with Captain Ulvera. He's great! Very laid back & relaxing afternoon. He let the boys take the helm - even let Robert bring it all the way into the dock. He provides water & adult beverages too (annamariasailing.com) As always we were happy with our week here. Its kind of hard to leave.

  You will be overwhelmed by the wonderful view from the balcony, lapping waves, a beach with sand textured like powder sugar, a resturant scene to meet every taste, and you will be surrounded by "Happy" people! The condo has three bedrooms, (the master overlooks the beach) a well stocked kitchen, towels, washer and dryer, flatscreen tv's, with cable! If this unit were for sale, I would buy for myself. The owners definately take pride of ownership! I will be back as soon as I am able. This was one of the best rental experiences I have had, and we rent units four to five times a year. The owner is great; any questions, no matter how trivial will be answered promptly. Just DO IT!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

  Have you ever sat in a traffic jam, an office on a wet grey miserable day, an airport waiting to board a very long delayed flight and wished you were some place else? Well this is the place!! Tranquility personified and with all the trimmings. What better way to go to sleep than lulled by the gentle sound of the waves caressing a sandy beach, awakening to the days chorus of a thousand birds, the warm breeze from the gulf, and the aroma of fresh coffee from the automatic coffee maker. This place gives so much pleasure it could draw a tear from a glass eye! Hi Joel and Denise, Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful condo. We had a fantastic, relaxing time.   Thanks so much for sharing your condo! Great location. We walked just about everywhere!! Great beach access and thanks for the chairs and toys that have been left. We put them to good use!! Had a wonderful time and don't want to go home!!

  This unit is one of the best we have ever stayed in :- it was well appointed in the kitchen towels etc. We met Joel and Denise and they are a lovely couple. Bradenton Beach is fabulous! We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. Thanks so much for maintaining your unit so well!
