Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
We, Fred and Brenda Daily, divide our time between St Pete Beach, Florida and Idaho--living half the year on the beach and half on the lake. We think it is the best of both worlds! We spent many years working in San Francisco and Lake Tahoe before we discovered the Sandpoint area in 2003. We fell in love with this piece of heaven property, and bought it on our first day here! No regrets!! You're invited to share this special place with us.
Why the Owner Chose Sandpoint

What a great time we had at this cabin! It is clean, comfortable, and cozy. At one point we had all of our family with us for a few days and that meant there were 6 adults and it was great! Fred and Brenda are fabulous hosts and were a pleasure to get to know in the short that we were there. If you bring a boat, you will love this place! We put it in the water the first day and enjoyed being on the beautiful Lake Pend Orielle daily. It was so easy and so much fun:) Fond memories were taken home by everyone and we truly hope to visit again soon!

The lake house was absolutely amazing! My wife and I honeymooned there for a week in August 2009. The environment was relaxing and enjoyable, yet the lake, nearby town, and resort offered several fun adventures. The hosts were very amiable and willing to answer any questions or meet any need that might arise. They also sent us home with several jars of their homemade jams, jellies, and sauces! I would recommend this vacation spot to any couple or small family looking for a memorable trip!

This was our first trip to Sand Pointe and I would definitely go back to the Little Bear Lair - very comfortable cottage on the lake with dock - felt like a home away from home. Fully equipped with everything you need! The town of Sand Pointe is just minutes away. A very special place!

A summer vacation in Sandpoint has become an annual event for our family. The Lil Bear Lair has plenty of space for us, and is very well equipped. We really enjoy being so close to the water, and having access to the boat dock. The Dailys are a great resource on fun things to do, and the local restaurants. We'll be back!

The Little Bear Lair has become a summer tradition for my family. We love swimming, boating, and fishing on the lake. The location is perfect - right on the water - and Sandpoint is just a short walk or bike ride away. My kids really enjoy the loft. We'll be back again in 2008!
