Amazing condo with an amazing beach & view!

My family & friends stayed in this great condo for a week in Janurary. The 3 bedrooms & 3 baths worked out wonderfully for our family. The condo has all the ammenities that you would need & then some! Sand toys for the kids, blow up rafts, & even a cooler bag to use down at the beach..perfect! We were travelling with our 2 year old & was able to set up a crib in the large walk-in master closet which worked out perfect! If a crib is needed, I highly recommend www.emptysuitcases.com they meet us at the condo day of arrival, set up the crib, then returned the day we left to take it down. Love the location of this condo, very quite & relaxing, but still not too far to drive to activities. The owner was very accommadting and was great to work with. I am sure our family will want to come back again soon!

We had a great stay at this location. It was close enough to towns/shopping but far enough away from the busier sections. The snorkeling is amazing in Cayman, and the owners have created a nice binder that shows some of their favorites. Some of these places were not in the regular guide books, so that was a nice touch. The physical space is open, very clean, very inviting. The 3 bedrooms are off the main section, so there is certainly enough privacy and quiet space. But the place has great dining/gathering spaces too. The porch has an awesome drink -in -hand view of the water and sunset. This place is a beachcomber's paradise.. long strolls on that white sand were wonderful. The pool was very nice, the cove was even nicer. Don't miss buying local fruit from road-side stands. You'll taste some amazing produce you don't regularly see in the States. The area is quiet, the condo complex very quiet. The complex was maintained regularly.. pool cleaned, sand combed.. they do a very good job of keeping it nice. The owner, Mark, was helpful with communication and provided some good info for the visit, including car rental. You will want to rent a car, Cayman is pretty stretched out. We highly recommend Grand Cayman and this space to you and your family!

A FAMILY OF 5 ADULTS STAYED AT THIS TRULY AMAZING, GENEROUSLY EQUIPPED, CONDO FOR 2 WEEKS IN NOVEMBER 2011, WE HAVE ALL STAYED AT SOME FABULOUS PLACES ELSEWHERE IN THE CARIBBEAN, THE MALDIVES, THAILAND ETC ETC BUT NONE TICKED ALL THE BOXES LIKE 'ON THE BAY'. IT IS SO QUIET WITH ITS OWN SALTWATER LAGOON, GOOD SIZED SWIMMING POOL AND GREAT SHELLING.THERE ARE FANTASTIC RESTAURANTS A SHORT DRIVE AWAY AND OUR FAVOURITE WAS 'OVER THE EDGE' - THE NEAREST TO THE CONDO. THE BEST VALUE LIQUOR STORE IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER ('WATERBOYZ/NICO) - HALF THE PRICE OF THE SUPERMARKETS!! A 15 MINUTE DRIVE AWAY IS THE IDYLLIC 'RUM POINT' - GREAT FOR SWIMMING AND RELAXING IN THE HAMMOCKS!! WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE THERE FOR PIRATES WEEK .... TERRIFIC ATMOSPHERE IN GEORGETOWN. I'M SURE WE'LL BE BACK SOMETIME!!

My family (me, my wife and daughters ages 17, 14 and 7) spent a late spring break week at this condo. The condo is spacious and comfortable, and it is sparkling clean. The views are phenomenal. The pictures are nice, but it is better in person. The owner contacted us several times with advice and referrals on our trip. The local property manager also met us when we arrived. I was very, very pleased. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. There are plenty of bath and beach towels available. There were a few buckets, and some sand and swim toys when we arrived. I bought a few more and left them. The closest full grocery and pharmacy is about 13 miles and 20 minutes away. Not a bad drive, and you can coordinate it with any trips to the Western end of the island. The food selection was pretty equivalent to the US. Prices were maybe 10-20% higher. On the bay was quiet. We usually had the beach and pool to ourselves. The protected cove is great for smaller kids since you don't have to worry about waves. We did some great snorkeling around the island, but we saw plenty just in this little cove. Fairy basslet, sergeant majors, eels, sunshine fish, barracuda, needlefish, bluehead, squirrelfish, scorpionfish, and some other things I couldn't identify. Our youngest could even just stand up near the edge and stick her face in the water to see some of these fish. Activities: Stingray city is a must. We chartered a private boat for a 1/2 day for just our family that didn't cost much more than a group trip. (7seascayman.com) No crowds. Personal attention from our captain who was in the water with us. Plus we had two great personal snorkeling sites to explore afterward. We enjoyed the botanic gardens not 5 minutes from the house, but it is hot inland. 7 mile beach. Get your postcard photos here. Gorgeous. Rum point and Kaibo. Snorkeling, water sports and beach bar. Dolphin Discovery was pretty fun, followed up by great waterfront dining at Morgan's Harbour. (But the stingrays were still way better.) Bottom line: If you want a busy resort, lots of shops and restaurants, and nightlife this is not your place. (And it is only 30-40 minutes away anyway.) If you want a private, relaxing piece of paradise where you can just enjoy the island and being with your travel mates, you won't do much better than this. We didn't want to leave.

This condo has everything you need including the beach towels! This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and we could not have stayed at a better place. This condo is just as beautiful as the beach. The owner called us mid-week to check on us to be sure we had everything we needed. For the best stay on the island and bang for your buck, this is the place to stay!

Spent a week in March at this wonderful condo on Old Man Bay. The condo was quiet, clean and had everything we needed and more to ensure a stress free vacation. The property owner and manager both were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. It was hard to come back from such a relaxing vacation where the biggest problem we had to solve everyday was where to snorkel and where to eat! Would highly recommend this place to those who want a nice place to stay with great snorkeling and avoid large tourist areas. We would definitely return to this condo and the sooner the better.

What can I say? The place is fantastic...well kept, beautiful views, great location, and plenty of room for all. My husband and I and our best friends spent 10 glorious days in this clean, quiet, wonderful condo. The owner is very easy to work with and everything (including beach towels and detergent) you need is at your fingertips. We enjoyed the short drive to Rum Point, the Over the Edge Restaurant that was just 5 minutes away and our favorite snorkeling beach, Barefoot Beach, again just a short distance from the condo. We plan to make a return trip within the next couple of years, and this condo would definitely be our first choice. By the end of the trip, all four of us felt like locals! We even got to watch a wedding on the beach while we were there.

The condo was private and beautiful. Large and furnished comfortably. My husband and I traveled with our 5month old son, my Mom and Dad and 2 brothers (19 and 26yrs old). This was a great place for our family. Off the beaten path, yet close to beautiful and popular attractions such as Rum Point and Seven Mile Beach etc. We basically had the condo complex to ourselves. Our son was able to sleep in the master bedroom walk in closet in his pack n play! This worked perfect... he had his own room! Mark, the owner, was very helpful and knowledgable about the area. He met us in person to give us a map with his favorite locations, restaurants, stores marked on it. He also called us once we were down there to make sure that we had everything we needed, and then followed up with us once we returned home to make sure we had a good time. We definately recommend this place!
Owner response:Thank you, I'm very happy you and your family enjoyed our home. I wish I could spend more time in Cayman myself, but I am glad it can bring relaxation and enjoyment to others.

PARADISE!! The condo was clean, large and nicely decorated. The views were breathtaking. We also loved the location. So close to Rum Point, Sting Ray City, great snorkeling, local restaurants, yet totally private. We were there in August and my kids are dying to go back. Cayman is a great island and "On the Bay" is a great condo cluster. There is a private beach with lagoon area perfect for kids or floating on a raft and there is also a pool. We will definitely be back!!!!

We stayed here for our family vacation in July 2010. This was the best vacation we have ever had!. The condo was phenomenal. It was clean and beautiful and had all of the ammenities you could ever need. romantic views of the beach and ocean from the balcony. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. On the quieter side of the island but very close to many activities and shopping. Very quiet and not crowded at all. Most days we had the beach and pool to ourselves. The kids enjoyed the great snorkeling right out front in our own tidal pool. The locals were all very nice and we felt very safe. We cant wait to go back. We have travelled all over the carribean and this was the best place that we have stayed. Our kids dont want to go anywhere else on vacation. Highly recommended!
