The inspiration for my house comes from my deep love for plants, horseshoes and a spectacular Rocky Mountain Cedar Tree, measuring 20'6" tall with a 38" diameter.
My love of the open spaces and horseshoes determined the size and style of the roof I designed. The roof measures 50' x 30', with horseshoe and barbecue pits on a sod lawn, flower gardens and a Jacuzzi.
The atmosphere inside the house is accentuated with a fishpond and an atrium garden. The creek and natural surroundings provided the massive rocks and logs I incorporated in the construction. The Arizona sun created the type of heating I used, passive solar. The creative style of architecture and design derived from my deep passion for nature, thus the name of my dwelling, "Natures Inn." Due to the pristine nature of my surroundings it is a place I can enjoy nature in it's finest, be it; watching javelina cruising through, to watching a mountain boomer capture a beetle for it's meal, along with lizards, quail and peacocks rummaging through the leaves. Living in harmony with nature, not trying to change it's natural course, is the key.
If you are an avid hiker, outdoor lover and explorer, this property will allow you to become one with mother nature! I invite you to come and visit my exclusive home in the magnificent red rock surroundings of Sedona! |
