This beautiful townhome is located directly bayfront in the exclusive resort community of Bayside at Bethany Lakes. The home features terrific views of White's Creek, the Indian River Bay and wetlands from both living levels, providing gorgeous and peaceful sunset views from the spacious deck off the living room or the balcony off the master bedroom.
The home is in a quiet, secluded location within the resort, yet only steps from the bayfront resort clubhouse, which features a waterfront outdoor pool, an indoor pool and whirlpool, men’s and women’s lockers rooms with showers and sauna/steam rooms, two tennis courts, a state of the art fitness center overlooking the bay, game room with billards and Ping-Pong tables, several lounges, a library, meeting room, comfortable sitting areas, some for reading or chatting, others featuring large screen and plasma TV’s. Wireless internet access is also available at the Clubhouse. The clubhouse is also adjacent to the fishing/crabbing pier with ten boat slips for day-use. Clubhouse fee of $25 per person per week or a daily fee of $6 per person (over age four), is the responsibility of the tenant.
Inside the vacation home, the main living level features water views from each room, including a beautiful great room featuring a huge kitchen with granite countertops, breakfast bar, dining room and an adjoining family room with a large comfortable couch (with queen-size pull-out bed), a love seat, and a TV with DVD player and CD music system -with a selecion of cd's and dvd movies. The home has a Wi-Fi system.
The great room overlooks the sunken living room, with terrific bay and wetland views, especially at sunset and in the early morning as the swans, egrets, seagulls and on occasion, great blue herons carouse the wetlands, the bay and White’s Creek. Bring your camera! The living room level features cathedral ceilings, opening onto the spacious deck. The living room features a couch, a super-comfortable chair for reading or napping, TV with DVD and Sony PlayStation 2 console, and a gas fireplace. Also on this level is a powder room.
Upstairs on the bedroom level is the bayfront master bedroom suite nicely furnished with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, dresser, end tables and TV. The spacious master bath features his and her vanities, a jacuzzi/soaking tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a walk-in closet. The third bedroom has a full bed, a twin bed, a dresser, closet and a TV. A full bath is in the hallway. A full size washer and dryer are conveniently located in the upstairs hallway closet.
Just a half mile or so from the resort is a nice grocery store (G&E), a hardware store, Tom & Terry's Seafood Market, and a great restaurant - Magnolias. The resort is about a mile or so from the beach and about two miles to the boardwalk, shopping, and dining of downtown Bethany Beach. As a Clubhouse guest, you have access to a free beach shuttle which runs in-season on weekends between Bayside at Bethany Lakes and downtown Bethany.
A quick car or bike ride to the beach, Bayside at Bethany Lakes offers almost everything you could want in a vacation home - a beautiful private clubhouse, pool, tennis and exercise facilities, a pier and dock, and more. Enjoy the beach, enjoy the pool, then relax and enjoy a pretty sunset.
