It's a five minute walk to Surfside Beach one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The bike path and town shuttle stop are right at the end of our dirt road so you can leave your car at home. Our home is sunny and cheerful. After a full day at the beach the ocean surf will lull you to sleep at night .

Why the Owner Chose Surfside
Living in downtown Boston and having young children we were looking for a weekend and summer home for all of us to enjoy together. Since we love the ocean and my husband enjoys golf Nantucket provided the perfect solution. It hasn't disappointed at all.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Beach, golf, biking, nature walks, crabbing, fishing, gardening and barbecuing although we also like dining out in our favorite restaurants on island as well.

My husband and I have enjoyed our Nantucket home since we bought it years ago. Our two children have grown up loving their summers and holidays there and making life long friends along the way. We have become part of the summer and year round community and look forward to many more years at "Sweet Dreams".

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED! The “Sweet Dreams” property is the quant essential Nantucket vacation home and was everything we could ask for. A block from the Surf Side beach, the location was only surpassed by the accommodations. The time spent relaxing in the tranquil manicured yard and garden was wonderful. Each night we fell asleep to and were awakened to the sound of the surf. The level to which the kitchen was equipped begged us to stay in most nights and allow for the creation of gourmet meals with only the aid of the wonderful local produce. This included indulging in the local favorite “LOBSTER”, more then once. We rode our bikes everywhere allowing us to leave the car in Hyannis and for those quick trips into town, the bus stop at the end of the drive could not be more convenient. The Snack Bar at the beach was our sons favorite dining experience and was right out of a summer of our youth. We loved our week at “Sweet Dreams” and plan to be back this year.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We loved this house! The house was cozy, comfortable and clean. It felt like it was our own home. It didn't feel like a rental house. It had all the amenities of our own home. It was very close to the beach (you can hear the surf from the house) and not too far from town. The house is very well maintained and you can tell that a lot of love and care is in the home. My husband and I would definitely rent this house again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
