My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights for our quick end-of-summer vacation. Everything about this condo was excellent! It was just the right size for us and had everything we needed (beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, free wifi, washer/dryer, etc). It was clean and really tastefully decorated (not like some tacky beach houses). It is about 3 or 4 blocks from the beach, but these aren't regular city blocks so the walk is much shorter than it sounds. On the walk to the beach, you pass through the "downtown" area of Tybee. It was so great to be within walking distance to all of these shops, restaurants, and bars since you have to pay for parking there. Overall, we had an awesome vacation and would absolutely return and stay in this same condo!

What a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Tybee Island and nearby Savannah. Chris was great to work with, and made arrangements so easy to make. The condo was perfect for our little vacation away from the everyday routine at home. Everything was just as pictured. Chris had the condo stocked with all necessary items when we arrived. The place was clean and very homey. We were close to the beach, and enjoyed the short walk to and from it daily. I would highly recommend this condo. While on Tybee Island, be sure to enjoy the various restaurants and shops. And be sure to see the sunset from AJ's Dockside.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

VERY cute condo!! The place had plenty of room for me and my family of 4. Chris was so easy to work with. Felt at home the moment we walked in. The pictures are so true to the place! Very close to the beach and shops. Loved it!

Perfect Tybee Condo!

Our fall trip to Tybee was great! We couldn't have asked for more from this trip. We arrived late on a Wednesday, after driving 10 hours in the rain. The condo was very welcoming. We instantly felt at home. It is nicely decorated but not overly decorated and outdated like so many beach rentals. The condo is just as it is shown in the photos. It is a nice 5 minute walk to the beach and all the "happenings" on Tybrisa and practically all of the eateries on the island. We rented bikes one day and rode all over the island. We visited the beach a couple of the days and it was very nice to have the beach chairs available to use. September/October is a great time to visit as the weather is very mild but the water is still warm enough to enjoy the ocean. We visited Savannah on 2 different evenings and boy is it a treat! We just love Savannah and Tybee! Christopher was great to work with. We spoke on the phone a couple of times and emailed back and forth because I had lots of questions. He made sure everything was seamless. The only complaint I had was the barking dog at the house behind the rental. We weren't able to enjoy the patio or balcony due to the dog barking at us. But, this is beyond the control of Christopher and wouldn't prevent me from renting again. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay on the south end of the island because it is well worth it. Don't expect an oceanview but this "homey" rental and the amenities make up for the view. Thanks again Christopher!

From the very start of this process Christopher made everything easy! He was ever so prompt in returning my phone and e-mail inquires, and I never waited more than a few hours for a reply. We booked this property for a 1 week stay. His condo was everything we expected! It was as if we were walking into the pictures he has on the site! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, plus more. The appliances were easy to use, and everything was in excellent working order. The bedroom/loft upstairs was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom upstairs has a large countertop, with double sinks and Christopher even had a hairblower, (the one and only thing I forgot to pack) The neighorhood was great. The neighbors were quiet & friendly. You are only 4 blocks to the Tybresa Street Pier, and South Beach. The condo was perfect for our family, and I do not hesitate one bit to recommend Christopher and this condo to anyone, you will not find a nicer guy to rent from, or a nicer condo to stay in at this price!

My family and I just spent a wonderful week on Tybee Island at Chris' condo! It was extremely clean and much more than I had anticipated. Chris was so kind and prompt in returning my emails and calls. The condo was just 3 short blocks to the main strip of shops and 4 blocks to the beach. My only recommendation would be to invest in a beach cart...the load becomes heavy after a day of fun in the sun! If ever I get a chance to return to Tybee Island, I know exactly where I will be staying!

This was our first time to Tybee Island, and our first time renting a condo directly from the owner. The owner was friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable with the whole process, always responded to my phone calls and emails in a timely manner. The condo was exactly as pictured, and was super clean. We will be definately be visiting Tybee again and hopefully renting this condo!

This place is great and Chris the owner is fantastic to work with. Everything is exactly like it looks in the pictures. It is very clean and he had extras like bath soap, laundry detergent, etc. It was a great location 3 very short blocks to the beach and we walked every day with our two kids. I liked being on the south side with all the action. We walked to all the eating, entertainment, etc.

We had a great time! It was my husband and our 7 year old and her best friend. The condo was clean, bright, and perfect! Would recommend this condo to anyone. And I will stay here again. Very short walk to beach, shopping and restaurants. We walked everywhere. Very close to Savannah!

Much needed vacation

Our experience was wonderful. The condo was more than expected, quite neighborhood, two short blocks from the beach\food\shopping. Every attractions were close, the science & marine museume, the lighthouse, Fort Pulaski and Savannah. Clean property, corner lot, all amenities provided. All we had to do was show up and enjoy.

My husband and I just spent five "winter" weeks on Tybee Island. Chris' condo was everything that the photos show: CLEAN, bright, and comfortable! That, along with its proximity to the beach and many restaurants, gave us great walking destinations. Those walks could be extended anytime because the beach stretches on and on, and cottages of all sizes invite you to explore neighborhoods. Driving on and off the island to go to Savannah or other day-trip destinations gave us unexpected views of marsh life. Seeing the freighters entering the river gave us an awesome realization of commerce and just where we were located. Having a washer and dryer, linens, and nice kitchen appliances allowed us to settle in when we chose. Chris was very accomodating with his arrangements and hospitality. Communicating was very friendly and comfortable. This was a great find! Thank you, Chris.

My wife and I stayed at this condo on New Year's Eve. We were very impressed with the remodel work that Chris has done. It is very clean and neat and perfect for anyone visiting Savannah or Tybee Island. We hope to come back again with our little boy and our moms in the warmer months. Only a short walk to the beach and fifteen minutes from the Historic district of Savannah.

We had a WONDERFUL time in Tybee. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. It is in a great location on the South end of Tybee and is within walking distance of several restaurants, shops and the beach. Chris was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this place. My husband and I got married at Tybee Island and stayed at this condo. The condo was very clean, and was in a prime spot. We rented bikes and were 2 blocks from all shops and the beach. He also had 3 backpack chairs for the beach, which came in very handy. The owner was VERY easy to work with. I would highly recommend this to condo.

This place was immaculate! It was so clean and neat. Everything was in order as soon as we arrived. We had no problems. It is a short walk to the beach and stores and tons of places to eat. We did not want to leave. This place will now be our "go to" place for quick getaways and longer vacations. Thanks for sharing this place with us Chris!

Wonderful place. So clean, wonderful location. Must be one of the best kept secrets on Tybee. The owner is unbelievably gracious, provides soap, paper towels, etc. We will definitely stay again.

We just got back from our vacation at Tybee and had such a great trip! My husband, 4-year-old, and I spent 4 nights at this condo, and it was perfectly suited to our needs. The place's decor is very nicely done and casual, and everything is in great shape. We could tell the owner truly cares about this place.... it is very well maintained and spotless! It was also well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to two beaches plus all of the downtown shops/restaurants on the island. Communication with the owner before our trip was great. He was very responsive and quickly returned emails. I highly recommend this rental!

We flew to Savannah and stayed at this condo on Tybee for 4 nights. The condo is cute, extremely clean, very comfortable and is conveniently located near restaurants, shops and the beach on the south end of Tybee. We certainly would stay there again.

What am amazing experience! Well maintained condo, helpful owner, easy access to the beach and all ameneties all within walking distance of the front door! Of course I forgot just a few important things like soap, no fears, Chris was prepared and had the bathroom fully stocked and save the day! Just Thank you for allowing me to relax and enjoy!! I had a delightful stay at this condo. Very quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds and yet just a very short walk to restaurants and ocean pier. The place was clean, bright, comfortable and well stocked. Very pleasant stay. I would stay here again if I returned to Tybee Island.

As retired snowbirders, we travel 1 to 3 months each winter utilizing VRBO exclusively. WOW! Our family stayed here the week of New Year's Eve! What an awesome condo! Very clean, well maintained, bright and cozy, owner great to work with! Don't have any hesitations with this one! My girlfriends and I drove down from Atlanta and stayed 3 nights. The condo was a pleasant surprise, very bright and clean and the owner was wonderful to work with!!!! I stayed in this condo August '08, and it was wonderful! It was very clean and bright, and my boyfriend was surprised by what a great find it was for the price we paid. It was also very close to the beach, as well as many shops and restaurants. Also, another great plus is that the owner was very accessible, kind, and easy to work with, which I very much appreciated. Basically, I would love to come back here. I highly recommend this condo to anyone else who is considering it!

Our family stayed in this condo in July '08. It was ideal for our family of four. We had a GREAT time there. This rental is VERY clean and is convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owner was also very polite and easy to work with. We would DEFINITELY recommend this unit if you decide to visit Tybee Island.

We spent a weekend in this condo for a mini-vacation with another couple, and it was perfect! The condo is clean, bright, and well-decorated. And, most importantly, it is close to the beach and "downtown Tybee!"

We recently stayed at this condo and absolutely loved it! All of the comforts of home and location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Decorated in beachy motif and features artwork from local Tybee artist. Owner is unbelievably great to deal with. Don't hesitate on this one! We'll be back.

Great place to stay when you are looking for convenience, privacy and fun. Beach, restaurants, shops and bars are close by. Nice view also. We never moved our car. Pictures don't do this unit justice. This unit is perfect for a couple that is looking for romance and fun. I highly recommend. We will be back!
