Take the ultimate summer vacation at our beautiful home on Lake Brophy, Alexandria – one of the most popular vacation destinations in Minnesota.
Our home sits at the top of a bank, at the end of a cul-de-sac making it private and quiet. There is large front yard for outdoor games and a gas grill for summer barbecues. Inside the four-stall garage there is an extra refrigerator and sink for cleaning fish.
Whether you want to fish or enjoy the lake, Lake Brophy has it all. We have 170 feet of lakeshore with a private dock. You can bring your own boat or rent one locally for fishing, water sports or quiet rides on the lake.
An outlet located at the northeast shoreline of Lake Brophy flows through a chain of small lakes and into Lake Cowdry. These channels are navigable by small boats and afford quality fishing experiences on lightly developed, natural environment lakes.
Gamefish, largemouth bass and bluegill sunfish are abundant, and catch rates are exceptional. Lake Brophy is an excellent choice for anglers seeking fast action and quality family-fishing experiences.
From both the upper and lower levels of the house, the views of the lake are spectacular. On the main level of the home, a fully equipped kitchen opens up to the living, dining and recreation rooms. A deck over looks the lake with a large table and chairs to enjoy the view.
The dining room table seats 8 -10 people and there is an island with additional seating. Views of the lake are visible from every angle, with large picture windows going across the entire front of the house.
The recreation room has a full size pool table, electronic dartboard, sitting area ad gas fireplace . There are three bedrooms on the main level; two with queen size beds, one two twin beds. There is a full bathroom on the upper level.
The lower level walks out to a large patio over looking the lake. There is a large family room, laundry area, a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a walk-in closet and a beautifully tiled bathroom with an oversized shower.
Our home is located 1/4 mile from a city park with play equipment for the kids. You can access the Central Lakes Bike Trail less than a mile from the house. At the end of the block there is a convenience store and gas station and downtown Alexandria is just 2 miles away.

Great space and view of the lake. Plenty of front yard space for games and great kitchen to entertain.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners.

Everything about this place was wonderful except for the many steps and the fact that there was no beach area. The house was spacious, clean, and in good order. The management was very helpful and accomodating. The garage worked great for cleaning fish. The lake was good for fishing. The pool table and the dart board provided extra entertainment.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
