This is truly a classic. This home was built back in the early 30's, and you will enjoy it's character. With a newly modern kitchen featuring granite counter tops and all modern ammenities. We also kept the old time feeling in the home which allows you to get back to the good life that is easy, relaxing and peaceful. The complete inside of the home has rough cut pine boards on all ceilings and walls just as it was when it was built so long ago.
Seating on the private back deck accommodates up to 12 people, and makes for a lot of fun. The 6 person hot tub was installed April of 2008 on the deck just above the river.
You sleep at night with the peacefulness of the flowing river and the 4 foot waterfall right behind the home. The view is breath taking in all directions.
Trout fishing is a lot of fun with a river stocking taking place once a week. Only 1/8th of a mile north and 1/0th of a mile south, you are sure to enjoy the catch of the day, hopfully for all to see. Personal steps that lead to the river are for our guests with the brand new decks on each level. We recommend water shoes for everyone to wear.
Come, sit and relax by reading a book or watching all the wildlife here.

Marion & I have been married for over 30 Years *To each other* Yea! We were Cellular Phone Authorized Agents back in 1987 in the early stages of Cellular Phones, Have worked together Side by Side 24/7. We have moved built & sold a few Cellular locations.
We are from the Lakeland FL. area, Have lived in TX.& SC. Now we live in the small town of about 500 people Bat Cave NC. Have visited & traveled many areas of the USA & not found another place we like as much as here in Bat Cave NC. on the RIVER with the *Isothermal weather Region* we have always been Blessed where ever we are.
We enjoy riding our Motorcycles in the Mountains of Western NC. telling & showing the sights off the beaten path. We rode our Bikes in 1999 & took 3 Months & circled the US, British Columbia & Canada 28,000 Miles it was an adventure to remember.
