  This was our first visit to Hawaii - We are a family of 5 - my husband and I plus our three boys ages 21, 18, & 14! When we arrived to the condo, we were all so happy! The condo felt like home away from home! The layout of the place was very comfortable for all of us - The view from the main living room and master bedroom was unbeatable! The beds were all very comfortable for everyone and the bedding was high quality and beautifully selected. We used the kitchen everyday - in fact we cooked just about all of our meals at home and we were so impressed by all of the condiments and products that were there for us when we arrived... There were spices, dry goods, coffee, etc. The only things that we had to purchase was the fruits, veggies, dairy goods and protein. Of course, if we finished anything that was there for us to use, we replaced it happily! There was also a good supply of toiletries in each bathroom plus a stackable washer/dryer which allows you to travel lighter! Also, there were plenty of great travel books there to help us plan our days on Oahu as well as novels, great dvd selection, board games and the garage is full of anything that you can think of needing and then some more! They have snorkel gear, fishing poles, kids equipment and it is all organized and easy to find whatever you are looking for! Very nice neighbors that took the time to welcome us and help us with favorite things to do in the area! We walked over to Paradise Cove - a small public little beach that was safe and perfect for our boys to snorkel - they saw so many turtles there! Took the boys to the Pearl Harbor Memorial which was educational and sobering for us all - Took a beautiful tropical hike- Rode the big waves on the North Shore- Spent the day in Waikiki and don't miss the wonderful Surf-rider Hotel! It's a grand place to see... Take the time to drive around the island to the various beaches and all that Oahu has to offer- I highly recommend this comfortable home away from home for your vacation time on Oahu - it gives you so much time to just enjoy the beautiful ocean views and spectacular sunsets without having to spend so much time setting up house! We have very fond memories of this trip and have Donna and Bill to Thank for setting up this wonderful vacation rental!

  Absolutely LOVED Donna's condo in Ko Olina. Beautiful furnishings, well decorated, all the amemnities, and a bonus that they have a TON of kids stuff in their garage. Our girls loved all their toys, the swim stuff - and the lagoons/resorts are just a .75 mile walk down the road. The listing is very accurate, photos are accurate - property is very clean and well maintained. The owner is VERY helpful and we lucked out that they were staying next door while we were there. I would HIGHLY recommend this property and would stay there again. This location was great too- about 30 min to the North Shore, 30 min to Honolulu. But it is only 5-10 min to Costco/Target. We had a fabulous time (even though our children never did adjust to the time zone) and can't wait for our next trip to Hawaii!

  We just returned from Hawaii and could not be more pleased with our decision to rent this condo. The accommodations were extremely comfortable for our family of 6, we were a short (2 minute) walk to a secluded cove, and the location was perfect (close to activities and stores). To make this trip even more special, we got married at Paradise Cove during our stay, which was a one minute drive from the property. We have stayed at Turtle Bay in the past, and would rate these accommodations over that resort without question. If I had to list cons for the property, there are two. The first Doonna had no control over, which is that the maintenance crew worked on the sprinkled system during our entire stay right in front of the back patio. This actually wasn't a huge deal except for the few mornings they were using a jack hammer type tool in the morning. Secondly, we couldn't get the wifi to work. Again, in all fairness to Donna, I didn't contact her with this issue or to see if we were doing something incorrect because I was secretly happy that the kids were technically cut off for two weeks. No one missed their Internet connection and the boys were instead focused on all of the activities the island had to offer. All and all, staying at this condo was one of the best decisions of the trip. Donna was really responsive, the property is gorgeous, the neighbors are very friendly, the location is great, and the view from the condo cannot be beat. We hope we get the opportunity to stay at this property again when we return to Hawaii.

  Owner response: We are so sorry about the maintenance noise - the sprinkler system suffered some severe damage recently and because it was leaking water, we needed to get it fixed as soon as possible.... water is a precious commodity in Hawaii!!! All you would have needed to do with the wifi is re-boot it, you should have called me, but glad your kids had a great internet free vacation. We are very pleased with your enjoyment of our condo and hope you can come back another time too. It is indeed Paradise!!
