How lovely to look out the windows at night and see the moonrise, the pastoral scene, cows and horses on the hillsides. Dear Anne and Scot, As a post graduation celebratory trip, the six of us decided to spend a week at your house away from our regular busy lives. We chose Jenner primarily because of your house-as soon as we saw it we knew it would be perfect, and it was. Nothing beat waking up on the deck with the chirping birds, rising sun and beautiful view. Your house met our every need with a great kitchen and just the right number of chairs at the dining room table. We even got a chance to play some tunes on the piano. Dear Anne and Scot, What a wonderful retreat you have fashioned here. I've stayed at Artist's View for three days and felt completely at home. We have been traveling the CA coast for several days and your home is the only spot we could imagine ourselves living in. All the little touches you have thought of really make Artist's View seem like a home away from home for travelers. We particularly liked the garden! The new hot tub, the grasshopper on the door and the tulips and daffodils on the deck. Also the beds are so comfy. We hope to return soon for another hiking vacation. Dear Anne and Scot, I am 11 years old and my mom and I decided to come here for Christmas and New Year's. IT WAS EXTRAORDINARY! It was the peeerfect getaway for Christmas/the holidays. The neighbors are sooo nice. My mom and I were living in The Artist's View and we got to meet a a very nice dog called Monti for our dog to play with. Dear Anne & Scot, I loved just "being" at your wonder-filled home. Two days was simply too short a time to fully appreciate all the beauty you have created -- the decor, the art, the gardens, and so much more. The property is very tastefully appointed. I especially enjoyed just sitting quietly on the day bed in the great room, reading a book with the fireplace glowing, and every so often just gazing across the gulch at the river and forested hills. Your property is in a really great location, beautifully sighted to receive the morning sun (my favorite) and protected as it is from the onshore breezes. I love Jenner by the Sea and hope to return in the near future. Thank you for creating such a welcoming home away from home.

We stayed here on the occasion of my first visit from Oklahoma. I have the dearest and best friends who organized everything and chose your home for our lodgings. We oohed and aahed at the surroundings, the beach, the view and all the special touches in this marvelous home. Your home makes us feel as if we were home.

The house was tastefully decorated, spacious and romantic. Comfortable bed and excellent linens! It had such a beautiful view from the balcony that every morning my husband and I ate "al fresco" and had trouble leaving to get on with our day. A gem on the northern California coast. Anne is a terrific host --- stay here, you won't be sorry!

What a beautiful place! Lucky hosts!! Lucky guests!! We are very happy to have found your home and entirely enjoyed it.We all loved the house and it was perfect for two couples. We would find it easy to be permanent residents of Jenner and your home. The gardens were amazing and we enjoyed seeing the California sized versions of many plants we are growing in our cottage garden. I appreciated the library downstairs and only wish I had more time time to spend reading quietly.

We stayed here on our first trip to wine country. Thought it would be nice to stay around Jenner for a few days over the weekend and miss the crowds. We really enjoyed the area. The hills provide a great environment for morning walks. The deck was awesome! This home is very peaceful and cozy. thanks for all the great suggestions-dinner at River's End was amazing! I stayed here for four glorious days. The setting is so charming. We cooked each night. The kitchen has everything you could need. I spent the early evenings gazing at their most amazing garden. My room was so comfortable. The bed was great. The bathroom was modern and, frankly, much nicer than I have at my own house! Lot to do in the area. If you are looking for a retreat, someplace with peace and quiet and charm…this place is a MUST!

We came here for a little R&R from Napa, California. We're both chefs and really had the most amazing time ever! This home gave us the biggest hug with open arms as soon as we walked through the door! We felt nothing but pure loving inspiration here. We even developed a couple of recipes! One that's named the Artist's Vision Painters Dream Fritatta! Awesomely delicious!! We will definitely be back very soon :)!

We had a GREAT time at the Artist's View. It was absolutely gorgeous! We cooked all of our meals and found the kitchen to be very well stocked with everything we needed! We also loved the decor, it felt very homey yet had so much charm. The bathrooms were beautiful and some of us even got to utilize the tub which was fantastic! Thank you so much for everything!
