Recently constructed (2005) 3300+ square foot traditional home in East Hampton on Long Island's East End. The home is impeccably furnished with high end finishes. It has a 20 x 40 heated gunite pool with a large red brick patio and a cedar deck perfect for entertaining. A large outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach. There is a modern kitchen with recessed panel cabinetry, granite counter tops, WiFi and all common rooms and outside deck are centrally wired to the stereo. Just bring your I-pod and this can be your classic Hampton's home away from home.
There are four bedrooms. The master is large, with flat screen TV and a private bath that has a shower and Jacuzzi tub. Another bedroom has a queen size bed and a crib. The third room is a beautiful room with two twin beds on antique white metal beds. The fourth bedroom is also upstairs, but away from the other bedrooms with its own private stairway. This room, which also has its own private bath, is huge, with a king size bed. It is perfect for visiting parents, an au pair/nanny or friends. Downstairs there is an a living room open to the dining room and kitchen, and a den with a 42 inch plasma TV.
This house is truly in the middle of everything. You are about a five minute drive to great shopping in the Towns of East Hampton and Amagansett, and about a seven minute drive to some of the most beautiful ocean beaches anywhere. You are even closer to the quaint Springs General Store, Round Swamp Farm, Nick and Toni's Restaurant and some lesser known but equally beautiful Bay beaches.
Please call or email with any questions. Rentals are one week minimum (no exceptions) and usually start on Friday at 4 pm and you must leave by Friday at 10 am so we have time to get it ready for the next guest. Monthly and seasonal rentals strongly preferred and given preference.

The Unique Benefits at this House
This is not a typical rental property. It is beautifully furnished, but comfortable. The landscaping is classic East Hampton and the light streaming through the windows must be experienced. The home comes with Board games, pool toys and lawn games, which all make it look and feel like it is your own home.
Owner's Map of East Hampton
We are a family of four who enjoy our vacation home in East Hampton when we want to escape Manhattan. We only rent it for limited periods of time. We enjoy all the Hamptons has to offer and especially love to bike, go to the Springs General Store, barbecue, kayak and go to the beach. Hanging out on the hammock is not so bad either. This is not a run of the mill "rental," but rather our home. So please no low ball offers. We love to go out and enjoy the property ourselves!

As ex-New Yorkers who only gets to visit the Hamptons once a year these days, we have to make it count. We spent almost three weeks in this home and it more than exceeded our expectations in terms of ammenities and location. There is a great kitchen and grill for cooking with all supplies, separate apartment-like set-up for our nanny, ample play things and large property for our young children, and a beautiful deck with lots of tables and chairs that was great for entertaining. While you do need to drive to get where you need to go, you have easy access to East Hampton via backroads and can get to nice Bay Beaches with free non-permitted parking or to Atlantic Beach (one of the few beaches you can pay to park without a permit) in about 15 minutes. I cannot recommend this house highly enough if you are looking for a "real" home where you can actually hang out in a comfortable manner and not feel like you are on top of each other.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.
