Location - unbeatable:
You also are going to love the location. It is an easy walk to the plaza (shops and restaurants) and Canyon Road (galleries galore). The plaza is 4-5 blocks and Canyon Road is 6 blocks away. It is also on the road to Santa Fe's best spa, 10,000 Waves (4 minute drive). The "waves" is a world class Japanese style spa with hot tubs, excellent massages and lots of other treatments. Other convenient amenities are the neighborhood tennis courts (4-5 blocks) and a great sunset viewing park (3 blocks).
We live in the same neighborhood and really love it. Quiet,convenient and safe. We would not live anywhere else.

My husband and I and our three young children loved our week here. The owners were warm and welcoming. The home is imaculate and the perfect place to stay in Santa Fe. Our friends and family in town would always choose to hang out at our place. The location is convenient to the slopes and to the square. If you're looking for a place to stay, don't bother looking anywhere else. You found it! We just hope we get to stay there the next time we visit Santa Fe.

This was the perfect place for our "girlie" family vacation! Loved it! Every detail perfect. Sandra and Justin supplied us w/restaurant lists, things to must see, day trips etc. WE did it all. Location was terrific. Only thing to watch for in master bath--the sink is very high so no short people. It was a gorgeous sink however. Thanks so much to S and J for allowing us to share this wonderful place on our vacation.

Great house for our girls getaway in Santa Fe! Six of us comfortably spent almost 4 days (including a snowy May afternoon) enjoying not only the town but Opera House as well. Justin made us feel right at home upon arrival and went out of his way for the last of us leaving. We would definitely stay there again and would even bring the family next time.

This house is great and even better than the pictures. It is easy walking distance from everything downtown (we walked to dinner and drinks every day). The house is very clean and well-maintained. We spent more time than we thought we would at the house as many of the state parks were closed because of fire hazards, so it was great that it was so comfortable. The owners are wonderful and provided a very useful guide to the city and their favorite places. Their recommendations were spot on. They made us feel particularly welcome. I would definitely recommend to friends and we hope to go back soon.

The Opera House is a beautiful condo. Unfortunately none of the reviewers that were included had stayed in the condo during the summer months. There was one room air conditioner in the large living area and one in the master bedroom. The other two bedrooms were extremely hot and the living area was very hot during the day. Granted, August 2011 was, I hope, an unusually hot month for Santa Fe, but I would not recommend staying in either the Opera House or the Artist Retreat during the hot months. I am sure they would be wonderful any other season. The owners were great to deal with and the house was very clean and well maintained as well as well located.

I've done a lot of VRBO renting: Hawaii, Carmel, Tahoe, Coronado, Point Reyes Station, etc, and the Santa Fe property ranks with the best. The location is within walking distance (even for young kids) of the Plaza and great cafe's and dining options. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and comforters and linens, the bathrooms are plentiful and very nice, and the living room and kitchen are large, well lit and comfortable. The home also boast high end appliances: Bosch dishwasher, Asko washer/dryer, nice gas-top range. Your hosts are very hospitable, organized, know the local attractions and have expert recommendations for great food. We visited during February and had great skiing on Santa Fe mountain, skating at the rec. center and great hikes at Tent Rocks and Bandalier - too much to do for one week. We are looking to coming back.

It is very rare when a vacation property exceeds expectations, but such is the case with this lovely home in Santa Fe. We were all impressed with the high end finishes and appliances. The unit provides private baths with each bedroom and a large living, dining and kitchen space to share before setting out on adventures. It is located in a residential neighborhood within walking distance to the Plaza and Canyon Road. Sandra and Justin were readily available to answer questions and provided great recommendations on restaurants and things to do in Santa Fe.
