This famed mid-century Alexander home has just been fully renovated. It's apparent the moment you drive up the end of the quiet cul-de-sac, take in the striking desert landscaping and pull into the Jetsons carport with galvanized steel and glowing lexan panels.
Step inside and instantly relax. Take in the airy post and beam construction, with soothing white walls and massive chocolate beams. Polished concrete floors anchor the glamorous open-plan living/dining/kitchen space. Flop into the stylin' vintage and contemporary furnishings straight out of Dwell magazine.
Two big sets of glass sliders lead outside to the huge private yard and unusual cobalt-blue pool bent at a jaunty angle. The rich resort style yard features a carpet of green grass, purple lantana and brilliant red bougainvillea. Round the corner to big shaded patios and spa, and more of the vast yard with fruit trees, privacy hedges, block walls and original redwood fences. Take in the expansive mountain view... breathe in the clean desert air... relax.
After floating in the huge pool and kicking back in resort lounges, you may need a relaxing nap in one of three soothing bedrooms - roomy and shaded with rich carbon-brown sisal carpeting and plentiful closet space. The master has a slider with direct access to the patio, and an ensuite bathroom featuring a step-down shower with glass wall and mini-mosaics, and back door for direct pool access.
Time to fire up the grill. Or head inside to hang out with cocktails at the entertainment island, and rustle up a meal in the brand-new, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, caesarstone counters, frosted glass cabinets and mosaic tile. Later, refreshed, lounge around the stylin' living room watching the flat-screen TV. Party all night long in and outdoors, or just chill, in your stylish home-away-from-home.

Stayed here for 5 days over Thanksgiving weekend. This place is absolutely great. Yard, pool and spa are very nice and all pictures and descriptions of the house are very accurate. Owners are quick to respond to emails, sent the keys right after payment was received and returned security deposit promptly after keys were returned. We brought two dogs (who currently live in apartments) and they loved the yard and the ability to relax outside. House had all the appliances and cookware needed to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, enough said. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

The house was an amazing escape. Very private yard and pool, so you feel like you're in your own little oasis, and our dog loved nice yard! We will definitely be going back!

We stayed here last weekend with a group of friends from SF and Southern California. What first impressed us was how accommodating the owners were to our requests and questions...and we had a few! Property was tranquil and the upkeep was wonderful. A gem of a pool on a quiet culdesac. We will stay again and thank the owners for their great communication and lovely home!

I would definitely recommend this house if you are looking for a great place to stay in Palm Springs! We were there last weekend for a moms getaway, and it was perfect for us. Good layout, modern kitchen, fun decor, comfy beds... and a beautiful backyard! Pool temp was perfect, lots of flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds, and a big lawn - nice view of the mountains too. We thought the house was centrally located as well, close to the grocery store and downtown, and not too far from Joshua Tree. This house works well for any sort of group - friends, couples, families... We'll be back!
