Very disappointing experience

My family and I stayed at the rental in August 2011. The unit is extremely small and the den is a room off the kitchen that is in most places the dining area. With that said, there is no dining area in the unit and the entire place is cluttered with probably over 300 knickknacks, that make it literally impossible for anyone to relax. The furniture is large and extremely uncomfortable and the place is so over furnished that at most there is a 12 inch path to walk throughout the unit. In addition, the unit is not well equipped with cooking supplies. This is the first rental where we had to pay a security deposit and for which the owner charged tax on the rental fee. I found out after the fact that the security deposit is a ruse because the owner came up with false allegations to retain ours. She also has notes all over the unit telling you what not to touch. The notes were not very inviting or relaxing. Please rent at your own risk.

THIS RENTER apparently was very upset that their security deposit was held due to a major clean up as well as damage's. {Rule's that were not followed or abided by} The majority of rentals on Vrbo.com require a security deposit.{ There is a reason why they call it security deposit.{ SECURITY} We should have known better as owner's when we did not receive the signed rules and regulation page back with the contract, and had to repeatedly ask for the return of it before check in. We finally received it the night before. For all the guests who would love to stay your at our lovely cottage we would love to have you. The photo's of the home explain it all it is exactly as it looks on the website.If you have any questions your more than welcome to call me personally. There is an eat in kitchen as well as 3 cozy different conversation areas..A King size suite with down comforter and well as fluffy down pillows. A second bedroom with a trundle bed and Admoire full of linens and towels. A bathroom tub or shower use a Queen size pull out Sofa Sleeper in the great room. An abundance of cooking utensils,ceramic dishes and glasses. You name it we have it. Whatever you have in a place that you call your home. <3 Thank you for taking the time to read.
