As a 3 bedroom townhouse, this place gets 5 stars. But as a 4 bedroom house, it's patently misrepresented. The home is truly beautiful, with knock-you-down views, and exacting details, including woodframe windows and doors through out, oversize windows, doors and ceilings, nice bathrooms, comfy bedding, firewood provided, reasonably stocked kitchen, beautiful in the large and small details alike. BUT THIS IS A 3 BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE WITH A CONVERTIBLE LOFT - the loft has no door, no closet, no shower, and opens out on the home's ONLY living area, so whoever sleeps there better sleep deeply, or they will be last to bed and 1st awake. The nearest shower is off the living room. The owner pretended to never have heard this complaint before and refunded a fraction of the rent - guess he forgot about the other person who made the same complaint posted here too (which I didnt read till after) - and guess he never read the same property's description on the property management website, which also calls it a 3 bedroom. The common wall was no problem bc the neighbors were quiet. Our family has rented a number of vacation homes in different parts of California, and this lovely house was the best we have found. It is spacious and beautifully decorated with many comforts. The linens are hotel quality and the owners offer lovely amenities for the state of the art bathrooms. Unlike many homeowners, their welcoming gesturing of stocking the house with paper products, cleaning products, and kitchen basics such as spices and vinegars was most welcoming. The great room has a warmth and spirit which provided a hub where our teenagers could play games and laugh together after a day of snowboarding on the vast slopes of Mammoth, minutes away. The kitchen is perfect and has enough utensils to satisfy almost any chef. Although the gas grill and the internet connction did not work, the owner was most gracious and caring about our experience. Some advertised homes are a disappointment as soon as you step in the front door. But this charming getaway with its spectacular views lives up to its promise and more.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

View is right, OMG. Loved the cushy leather sofas, Couldn't have been better located, We walked to breakfast at the "Stove" later we walked to the Golf Starter, Then barbaqued on the big deck, and watched the golfers go byRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We walked just a few hundred yards to the SnowCreek Athletic Club, And to the SnowCreek Golf Starter. We watched the golfers from the big deck. The Townhome had crazy wonderful views, and it was everything they said it was. All the rooms were large, had beautiful furnishings.We found our place to stay in Mammoth.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This home is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay! The only problem was the home was advertised at a 4 bedroom and it was not indeed a true 4 bedroom, but a 3 bedroom with a loft. We had 4 couples so it posed a privacy issue for the couple that ended up staying in the loft area. The owner was very understanding and did refund back some money due to the miscommunication so that was very nice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
