The Surf Ohana is a newly remodeled house offered to visitors looking for a quiet beach get away with bikes, parking, and all you need on a quiet street in Sunset Point away from the noise of Kam. hwy.
The new Surf Ohana is immaculate, perfect for yoga, or for anyone that appricaiates beautiful wood work and having everything new and fresh. We prefer couples, and small groups of adults (5 or under) but do take small familes if they are aware all is new and we want parents to be aware.
This house very much has a retreat feeling, open, clean, beautiful... The Surf Ohana beach house is LOCATED ON SUNSET POINT AND VERY FRESH AND NEW, remodeled 2009 top to bottom... everything! Including floors, windows, walls, curtains, lighting, kitchen, and bathrooms, and decks. FULLY FURNISHED with top quality 100% cotton linens. Location is quiet and offered to peaceful quiet guests only.
Surf Ohana comes with up to 4 Bikes, internet, cable TV, boogie boards & beach chairs, umbrellas, laundry facilities, parking and grill. It is very close to beach.
This is a family neighborhood where only respectful, non smoking guests are welcome.
PLEASE NOTE: Surf Ohana can be either be a large 1 bedroom with extra large living room and full kitchen, full bath. There can be also an extra bed in the living room for a 3rd person if renting as a Large One bedroom. When this house is rented as a large one bedroom it does not include the two back bedrooms that have the decks.
OR Surf Ohana can be the whole 3 bedroom with full large kitchen and double living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. The back two bedroom when rented as a three bedroom have decks.
THIS HOUSE IS NOT OFFERED AS A TWO BEDROOM . IT DOES NOT DIVIDE THAT WAY, SORRY, BUT WE CAN PUT A QUEEN IN THE CORNER IN THE LIVING ROOM FOR 3 GUESTS total.
Located ocean side of Kam and off Kam. on a quiet street very close to beach.
As a large one bedroom it comes with full kitchen, large double living room and one large bathroom with tub and one bedroom with a Queen. When rented as a large one bedroom there are no decks off bedrooms.
As a three bedroom it has double living room open to large kitchen and two bathrooms. Also includes the back decks off two of bedrooms. All three rooms have Queen beds and two rooms have deck entries.
Located on Sunset Point. Everything is new. Neighborhood is quiet and safe.

House are close and no one welcomes cigarette smoke blowing into their homes. Here we all live with our windows open. Please walk to the beach to smoke or do not book here. This is a serious matter and if your a serious smoker or serious drinker please look elsewhere.

The house was beautiful and spacious for our group of 4. The location is perfect, just a short bike ride from many beaches. We chose this house because it was in a fairly secluded and quiet location, away from Waikiki. The neighborhood is very nice and not crowded. Feels more like a local spot, and not touristy at all. We used the grill, the bikes, and the snorkel gear every day. This house had everything we needed for a simple beach vacation getaway.

Three of us stayed at the Surf Ohana House in September 2011. We loved the house! So nice to open all the windows and let the Hawaiian breeze blow through! The furniture is comfy, unlike most cheap rattan sets people purchase for their island homes. We enjoyed the bikes and the proximity to great beaches. We enjoyed breakfast at Ted's, and outings to Waimea, some "Lost" sites and BYU Hawaii campus and temple. Owner is attentive and responsive to requests.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I planned a last minute vacation to Oahu. This was my sons' first trip to Hawaii and this property and the location left a lasting impression. From the first time I spoke to the owner on the phone, I knew that I wanted to stay here. The photos beautifully depict the house. It is comforting, peaceful and inviting. It was wonderful to have use of the bikes, although I'm sure we didn't utilize them to their fullest potential. We rode to watch the sunset every night and the beautiful beach is only about a 4 blk walk. I wanted to stay away from the crowds in Waikiki so that the boys could fully enjoy the scenery of Hawaii and we definitely did that. The beach was not crowded and the gentle waves made for the perfect experience. Teds Bakery is 2 blks away and the grocery store is nearby also. The amenities were perfect. Bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel equipment, everything we needed was right there. The owner was very helpful. But once she got us settled, she didn't hover over us but she was there if we needed her. Thank you for making our first visit to Hawaii so unforgettable!!! I definitely recommend this property and I definitely recommend the North Shore and Sunset Beach if you are looking for a calm, relaxing vacation!!

We loved our stay at Surf Ohana! The whole place feels like home. It is roomy, comfy, well decorated and has all the amenities you need while on a beach/ocean vacation. We cooked almost every day, but managed to explore the local flavor when we felt adventurous. We enjoyed riding bikes to the beach, along the bike trail, to watch sunsets and to our favorite local bakery. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet and the local beaches are beautiful. It was a great home for our little 13 month year old daughter. Surf Ohana is a perfect family retreat.

This house is so beautiful. It looks even better than the photos. The floors are gorgeous. The kitchen is really nice and totally functional - we cooked at home every night. The furniture is cozy with a nice big TV and CD player. We rode the beach cruiser bikes and used snorkel gear everyday with all the great bike trails and coves within a short distance. The beach is also a very short walk (less than 5 min.) with amazing sunsets every night. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.
