Features include: three bedrooms, each on a separate floor with their own bathrooms; an open kitchen with new appliances; hardwood floors throughout; a reading nook, a loft with sweeping views; a game room with a poker table; an outdoor deck and a two-car garage (use of our two cars potentially can be arranged). Also available for your use: a computer with high-speed wireless Internet access, a dumbwaiter, two fireplaces (one gas, one wood). Free weekly housecleaning.
Views: We look out onto Cook Inlet and the mountains beyond, including Mt. McKinley on clear days. It is not uncommon to see beluga whales, bald eagles, and the occasional moose.
The Neighborhood
Location: We are located in Bootlegger's Cove, the closest neighborhood to downtown Anchorage. We are across the street from the coastal trail and a popular neighborhood park. We're two blocks from the city's best seafood restaurant (Simon and Seaforts), best breakfast place (Snow City), and best Italian restaurant (Orzo.) A few blocks farther are the new Museum of Art, 4th Avenue shops and galleries, and a gourmet grocery store (City Market.)
