We totally enjoyed staying at this renovated well equipped and gorgeous place. In the heart of the Latin Quarter, also the heart of Parisian history and it touches on everything from Roman ruins to the great intellectuals of France. Notre Dame, across the street, is one of World’s most famous cathedrals, La Sorbonne, nearby, is one of the world’s most famous universities. This is where Paris began many centuries ago, and today, it continues to be one of the most popular areas of the city. Lovely Cafes and Restaurants are there by hundreds, hard to make a choice !

We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this apartment to our friends and relatives. The location was very convenient too. The place was entirely remodeled and looks really great now. Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in these narrow streets. And boy, oh boy, the food is delicious! Please go next time you are in the Latin Quarter - stand in front the huge pinkish Fountain by Davioud in Place St Michel, look to your left, walk over the street and just follow the crowd as they walk past those lucky enough to have found a seat in the outdoor dining areas in front of the restaurants.

I do NOT recommend this apartment if you have more than 3 or 4 cozy adults in your party and I will never use usaparis again! We had 5 adults and we were beyond annoyed when we arrived late at night and realized there was only one double bed and one double fold out sofa. We had to sleep 2 adults per bed and my adult niece had to sleep on a sofa. usaparis is a terrible management service. I booked this apartment months in advance and told Vickie (in the US) that we were arriving late (and what time) from the beginning. She was most friendly on the phone while booking but only answered her phone once when trouble started. Right away usaparis wants contracts and a deposit but the deadlines for information is not mutual We were given a name and phone number for "Joe" to be our Paris contact. After not receiving any responses to my emails from Joe, I was told by Vickie that he was no longer there (last time she responded to my calls). I was hooked up with Beatrice in Paris, who was really pleasant but not very responsive. I was notified via email 2 or 3 days before we were to leave for Europe that the lock-box that must be used if you arrive late had been taken down and it was essential that all renters go to the usaparis offices (not close to the apt.) to pick up the key. They had decided that they were no longer going to wait more than 1/2 hour at the apartment for your arrival (no matter what time you arrived), so this was their new protocol. Since I had informed them numerous times that we were arriving late, I wondered how we would get into the office at that hour. I sent emails asking this question and got no response. I called Paris also and literally the day I was leaving for Europe, Beatrice called and started to tell me that they don't normally take guests arriving after 9:00 p.m.. After my protests she said she would ask her colleagues how to handle this. It was decided that our airport driver would need to drive us to their offices, pick up the key in a mailbox, then drive us to the apartment. She didn't know the mailbox number the key would be in before I left, so I had to check my email from various European (I and others don't have hand held access to email) computer stores. usaparis assumes you will be checking your emails while on vacation because, at the end of our stay, I had to call to find out where to leave the key, which they had emailed me while I was in Paris. I didn't receive my security deposit for 2 months.
Owner response:We are working hard to try to accommodate our customers need and make their Parisian experience as enjoyable as possible, as reflected by the hundreds of positive feedbacks all over the major vacation rental websites. It is of course impossible to make everyone 100% happy but this does not imply that we do not make efforts in this regard. The guests above rented a 1 Bedroom apartment for a party of 5, paying a competitive price and we tried to accommodate the number of persons by offering 2 double beds and a sofa. As you can see in other comments for this property for other groups of 5, the bedding was just fine. We are sorry that it was not the case for these guests also. We are unsure what their expectations were from a 1 BR apartment. We have chosen to allocate more resources to the customer care services and therefore an entire team now works in this department. We feel that the fact that our guests had as contact person someone that was no longer in charge with the customer care is not at all an issue since they got instead to be taken care of an entire team (including Beatrice who is mentioned above). The good work of the customer care team allowed our guest to be notified in advance about a change in the delivery of the keys of the property (things like this may happen at any time, the owner her/himself has no control over it; the important things is to be able to notify in due time the changes to the tenants affected which we can definitely say we did). Also, as stated in our policies we can assist in check in during business hours. Special arrangement must be done if a check in occurs outside business hours. Once again, our team was able to find a solution for the guests that allowed them to be able to check in at an hour that is not usually permitted in apartments located in residential areas. We feel that our assistance in this case was not only in the lines of our contract but went beyond it. We are sorry that the guests did not come to appreciate it but we believe that the fact presented above speak for themselves.

For a family of 2 parents and 3 teenagers it is not easy to travel on a budget and find the right place to stay alltogether. In Rome, we ended finding something in Frascati, a nice little suburban town, but quite far away from the center. So for our Paris experience, it was mission impossible, but we happily succeeded with this large 2 bedroom apartment in a dream location in the heart of the Latin Quarter Saint Germain des Pres , across the river from Notre Dame, the Louvre, Ile Saint Louis and Le Marais. The place was larrge enough and comfortable for our family of 5. It had all the equipments we needed, including a washer-dryer. It was simple but with a genuine old Paris touch, and the deal we got from Usaparis was incredible. The staircase requires a good physical condition. Other than that, it was a perfect choice and the local staff of Usaparis was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The layout of this apt worked really well for a group of adults traveling together. The location was a dream. When contacting French owners, I was a bit uncomfortable to send my money to someone in France I knew nothing about. So I loved the convenience and safety of booking through Usaparis, a US company located in FL., as this was my first vacation rental experience. Their staff in Paris was very helpful too. The experience was very budget friendly too after Usaparis gave us the best deal we could possibly find around. I would stay there again in a heartbeat...and look forward to my next return.

We had been looking quite a while for a place as close as possible to all sites, with convenient ground transportations. Those we inquired for in that same area were way above our budget. With this large ( as per Parisian standards... ) 1 bedroom that sleeps 5, we found the ideal compromise. Although it's in a very old building of Paris, it also had all the equipments we were looking for and it was perfectly cleaned when we arrived. We appreciated the convenience of making our booking arrangements through Usaparis, the property management firm, based in Florida, being ourselves located in HI. Their Paris agents were also very helpful

However Pierre assured me as a native parisian that it is better to be a part of the culture as an apartment renter than staying in a noisy, expensive, sterile hotel environment and he was right! SO exciting to wake up to your new friendly neighbors and stroll to one of many fantastic cafe's,restaurants and bakeries. The food has no equal in the States!
